Hmm Judges gave very good comments; perhaps he has an electrifying personality that janta loves. If not, where are all the votes coming from? Singing wise he may lag behind the other two but he has more X Factor and his stars are shining bright.
His Sukhwinder needs a bit more polishing but I love his Kishore da songs. Rim Jhim Giri Sawan was enjoyable.
He has a good low voice which he should capitalize on.

Geet has a personality
Geet is a great performer
Geet is not a bad singer (he may not be the best)
Geet was a punching bag for SLB and Sonu quite a few times
Geet was criticized more for the same/similar mistakes compared to other singers

All of the above reasons could be why people may be voting for him

Yes, Oh Johnny!
Geet was fated to win.
Maybe he has the macho Don image or Bollywood James Bond.
He has a great voice which he has not fully capitalized on.
I like his low voice.

the whole performance was pitchy.😕 not very good in my opinion. but literally speaking, i guess this was his "winning performance" cuz apparently her won the competition.

see that's the question. would you rather have someone who has a mediocre voice, but exceptional singing capabilities winning, or someone whose singing is mediocre but has a great voice? i personally give more importance to the singing capabilities. i think i've said this before... awaaz ka kya hai summerji, awaaz toh meri bhi achchi hai. but it doesn't mean i can sing.😆

Yes indeed in these shows the best do not often win.
Best singer is Seema no doubt. But then looks like Geet is more popular.
And this show is about popularity apart from singing.

If Geet had been in the Face Off with Deewana Group or even Shovon I think he would have lost.
But since he has won in a fair fight I am happy for him. Fantastic well done Geet Bhai. Geet is the First Sony X Factor Champion.
Seema will benefit a lot from this show too and she has been noticed. Hope she sings some songs with Sonu ji.
I expect to hear more of Seema, she is a real gem. There is a 10 year gap between GS n SJ, so Seema can keep improving.

Yes he has to cut out or improve some of the shoutings. 😆
some votes won by Geet could be due to Shreya as she has a very nice personality.
