I am big fan of Sonu Nigam... but I have a one huge complaint...

He never supported Sahiti and was too biased towards Seema Jha!

Of all the contestants, Sahiti had real talent and genuinely melodious voice. I would only put Manjeera above her and she never got the support she deserved from any of the three judges and specially Sonu who was her mentor.

Sad to loose her,,, she was a rough diamond and no one made efforts to polish her rough edges and worked towards shining her...

Sonu pushed her luck with very tough songs. Unlike Seema, she was not allowed to choose her own songs. I agree she is a rough diamond, her diction wasnt perfect as she never sang in Hindi before but she wasnt polished to that extent by her mentor. I could see the look on Sonu's face once she got eliminated, he felt regret that he couldnt polish and make her shine.

Completly agree! Seema is over hyped for no reason .Would like to hear a fast song and how much justice she can do for it. Sahiti is a versatile singer

I think the topic name is misleading, is slanderous and speaks of biased-ness.

Were you there at the shooting or are you sahitis friend to make such grand sweeping statement?

When she has no complaints, why should you?

The contestants supporters have nothing substantial to support their contestants with and open slanderous posts against the judges.

It has reached a stage on this forum where the judges feature more in the topics, rather than the contestants.

I guess it is right to assume that this show is more about the judges rather than the contestants.

If you agree she was a rough diamond and you did not see any improvement in her singing since she came on the show, that means you have not really heard her sing😆

She had improved dramatically in her singing and personality wise too.

Instead of whining, let us admire her spirit, her willingness to learn on the show, and wish her best for the future.

I so agree with you. Sonu likes showing love only for seema and towards others he does not see properly. If he saw them properly only when they got evicted. Really he remained biased this season.

Honestly speaking i liked voice only of two singers both are manjeera and shovon. I had already thought that one of them would win x factor but thought got proved wrong .

This is neither a charity nor a training platform. This for those who knows music.. let her sharpen her rough edges first and then come back. It is an insult of Seema to compare her with Sahiti.

Time and again Sahiti gave worst prsformances.. and Seema got POTW weeks after weeks.

No sympathy. only performance please.

Hmmm...yes, maybe because Seema is actually better than Sahiti, as in Seema has been more consistent than Sahiti.

Dunno if Sahiti did not get to pick or choose her own songs, but at the end of the day, a gem was indeed lost on X Factor.

She herself confirmed this with me., Sahiti always chose Chitra's numbers because that would suit her well and Sonu dint allow that because he thought she shouldnt be labeled Chitra's clone. However he allowed Seema to be Lata ji's clone. To some extent it did her good but eventually she was uncomfortable with the songs she was assigned in most of the performances.
