New York times had an artilcle about 4 years ago on how these people who sitting in the audience of Indian reality shows were paid prefessional audiences. These are people who came in with their regular clothings and then changed into the outfits (that was provided by the channel) like western or more modern type to wear, so that they will look like coming from all walks of life. Each day they received around one hundred ruppees and they were provided food. When they were interivewed, they said that was one way to earn a living and support their families plus they liked being fed right there. So I also knew it for a long time that they had dummy audience clapping and cheering for the contestants😆

I dont know much about ticket thing. In our case, what happened was. The show appoints some incharge (agent) who then arranges for people from colleges or even certain housing societies (therefore you get to see those aunties & all) in mumbai. So that way we got the passes. Now I am not sure about all other shows but most probably all are the same. Last time few of my friends visited Music ka mahamuqabla sets on BPCL ground Chembur. It was nearby for me but I couldnt go bcoz of exams.

One way to get into any reality show set is to contact the agent guy.

I wish I could go to X Factor sets one day, dont know where exactly it is & how the audience thing is over there.

Some one could also throw light on the long shooting hours. 14-16 hours for 2 episodes😊
