For me x-factor is better in some cases because in other shows age limit is there and usually solo singers come. But here no problem is with age and duet plus group can also participate.

Well, that could be partially due to the fact that it's the first season. They might not know how many people would turn up for auditions. Maybe they will add more cities next season?

Judges are vital part of the show with their comments and if they do not it is a problem. Shreya with all her singing talent does not speak enough according to me. I have seen her comment on other shows before and that is my only problem. Again it is my opinion and you do not have to agree.

Sorry to disaggree. Another thing I wud like to bring to your notice is that Sunidhi was a bit biased (or say a little favourable) to certain contestants like Shivam, Rakesh, etc. Her judging was good during the initial episodes, I really liked the way she thought Shivam how to improve his body language & all but later her comment were too vague. I remember the comments she used to give Shreeram & Swaroop. Once she said to Swaroop "Aapka gaana bahut accha tha, lekin Sur se bhi badke kuch hota, aur aapke gaane main woh nahi tha". I still wonder what she was speaking about😕 And her most favourite dialogue was "Feeling bahut kam hai", it was quite flat.

Another important thing, the length of the comments doesnt really matter, its the substance which matters. X Factor is gonna do really well.😊

I personally feel if the judges have nothing useful to say about a contestants singing, its better to keep quiet.

Tired of listening to comments like, aapne aacha gaya, magar sur hile , sur mein nahi the.

Irrelevant comment.

Agar sur mein nahi the tho basically they r reciting besura poetry?😆😕

Aap sundar lag rahe hain, kaash aap thoda aapke sur pe bhi dhyaan dete.

Either give detailed comments about where and why they went wrong and help them improve, otherwise just collect your pay check and waltz away home.

I am expecting something more from this show than the previously held mockery singing shows😊

Yeah, same here. I know Sonu gives good feedback to people in other shows, so I expect he will give it this time too. SLB has also given good comments too when is a guest judge in SRGMP.

Have not followed II much so dont know. But SRGMP is surely better !!
Such a substandard singers are given "yes" for next level in X factor !!! India mein talent ki kami nahi hai...wonder why such ordinary singers are being selected ??? / are they only showing the "entertaining" factor wale contestants and editing out the rest ?? dont know but so far the show is a big let down !!

Sonu has evolved as a judge, over a period of time. The maturity shows since the last chote ustad.😊

SLB was good as a guest judge. let us wait and watch how he reacts to the compulsions of the show😊😊

I prefer shreya as a singer😊

I could not agree any lesser with you!! Its really irritating to watch the judges' meaningless comments.
And I believe it takes away so much from the show when the judges don't make an effort to help the contestants get better, leave alone judge unfairly and develop favorites.

Absolutely! Most of them messed up pitching, there were few strikingly gifted voices. Worst still, they barely had anything different, the so-called X factor.
I'm not asking for playback quality singing, but there's barel any contestants who appear educated in vocal music. For the sake of the show I hope that they're hiding some of the best singers for the next level and just showing like a trailer at the auditions.

I also watched SRGMP 2009 and it was my fav, I didn't watch the next season because someone was missing for whom I watched season 2009. When it comes to the comments I think the judges need to point out the weak points and improve them. As for the singers, I don't know about them as I don't watch it. Just watched today and felt that some good singers haven't arrived yet.
