X Factor India not available in Canada

Hi Folks,

As you are aware, X Factor India was not telecasted in Canada as per the normal televised scheduled time of 9PM this past Sunday and Monday evening. I am watching X Factor on a different service (Watch India TV). I just saw an ad for an upcoming episode of X Factor India which states "NOT AVAILABLE IN CANADA" at the bottom when show times by region are displayed.

I have a feeling that Canada and its affiliate Asian Television Network did not get rights to televise the show in Canada, and hence the reason why Lift Kara De is televised at 9PM each night.

If any Canadians out there would like to watch X Factor, please contact ATN demanding they show this programming in Canada. The mailbox address is atn@asiantelevision.com

Yes it is quite upsetting. However, I have a set top box from WatchIndia.tv which gives the show on VOD. I would suggest if you want to watch, buy the box. It runs on wi-fi or cable internet.

But unfortunately, I live in a dorm...so I don't have access to it. 😭

I was really looking forward to seeing this on the big screen...seeing Shreya back on screen after more than a year...and now, I can't even do that! 😭

I'm gonna keep emailing ATN till they get the rights to telecast it...they even aired the ads and everything here...why this nonsense now then?

I think it's worth a shot...if ATN sees how many people really wanna see the show, they may try even harder to obtain the rights. I don't mind if they start the show a week late...I just REALLY want to see it on TV. I'm only subscribed to SONY because of my anticipation for the show.

Do give it a shot though...no harm in trying! I've emailed them numerous times myself. 😳
