"Hey, Big Bro," I said, smiling happily.

It's always so good to see Frank back home, since he & I get along so well. I always miss when he's not around, & especially when mum & dad are home. I sometimes wish that Frank were around more than mum & dad.

"Wassup, 'lil sis?" he asked. I could see he was happy to see me. "Where are Alice & JC?"

"Fighting, as usual. How's dear Tessie?" I asked, fluttering my eyes. Tessie is Frank's girlfriend, & also the most annoying person on this planet. Extremely annoying, yes. She once actually asked me if I played with Barbies. I mean, really. If anyone could say anything more revolting!

"Joy, errr, when did you last go shopping?" He knows how much I hate shopping, he often says I'm the only female species on Earth who does.

"2 months ago," I said defensively.

"And does mum know?"

"Do you think I'd live to talk to you if she knew? She's too busy with her parties to notice, and for once I'm glad."

"I heard you're almost Class President."

"Don't believe a word JC told you."

The world's most boring class has got to be History class. Our History teacher makes the life of Abraham Lincoln sound so boring, its hard not to yawn, even when you don't want to. So me, JC & Alice have now stopped listening to what she says. We talk in class instead. Alice doesn't approve of it, but she can't do much about it either. And anyway, our teacher doesn't notice. I don't think she'd notice even if someone brought a fully grown German Shephard to class.

"Please, Miss Smith, why didn't President Lincoln's parents have enogu money?" asked the most irritating girl in class, Elizabeth.

"Why, why does she always have to ask a question that's completely pointless!?" moaned Alice.

The bell rung, & we were saved from hearing Miss Smith's answer.

"You know what, Joy," said JC, as we ate our food, "you should add something else to your campaign."

"Yeah? What?" asked Alice, "Food fights? I'm sure you'll say something thats completely absurd."

"Actually, I was gonna say better food, but if you don't want the idea, then....."

"Anyone want my cookie?" asked Alice.

"Me!" both me & JC said at the same time.

She neatly broke the cookie in two pieces, & gave a piece each to both me & him.

"I shtill dom ghet why u dom like cookie." said JC, his mouth full of cookie.

i dont think joy is the only one in the female species who doesnt enjoy
shopping... im not a big fan of it myself... hehe

i'd like to know more about her family... her mom seems like a social
butterfly, always busy with parties and all...

i wonder what kind of person her dad is...

i like the relationship she has with her brother... its nice how they seem
to be so close even if her brother doesnt really stay with them

annoying classmates who ask stupid-ish questions... grrrr... 😡 😡 😡

over all, i enjoyed the chapter... do continue soon!

oh and i forgot to mention... joy, alice and JC kinda remind me of lizzie,
miranda and gordo... especially with the three-way calling thing... 😉
