I finished the "Devils" series by Elizabeth O'Roark.

Even though bookstagram hasn't gotten a whiff of her until now I find her books have this capacity to give you such weeping moments.

You know that's a character trait because they've developed that way and it still hits you.

I actually have cried a considerable amount during all four books.

BUT-

Again there's something about Book number #3 in every series. lol.

Anyone willing to go to enemies-to-lovers read 'The Devil You Know'

Which is my second recommendation to y'all.

Tropes : Enemies / Office Rivals-to-lovers

PS : There is going to be some difficulty in finding Links for these books but there's a website. Book 3 however I remember reading only on phone because pdf wasn't available. I'll have to check.

I'm a complete sucker for the bodyguard trope. 😆

You should read Wilde Ways series by Cynthia Eden (https://cynthiaeden.com). Almost all of them can be read as standalone, with possessive non-jerk heroes, usually smart heroines, boatloads of romance & steam, and good suspense quotient.

Actually, that's the recipe for almost all her novels. 😆

P.s. I am going to mark all the books in the series as TBR.

I have been SOOOOO FARRRR awayyyy lol

It is neither mine not Sathya's trope of choice. This is why we practically INHALED every book in the series but Rhys-Bridget were still left.

Up until December end we were passing it on to each other...trying to coax one out of us to do the unthinkable and read our first Bodyguard Trope - so that we can see if its worth the time. 😆

We are THAT bad.

LMAO, this one's a funny one!

Funnier than I expected. Though I find the writing a little MEH...anyway...this might be the only book where the story is divided into two parts.

PS : Pls ignore my dirty laptop lol 🤡
