"Read all of the entries" should be a rule of voting, not an ideal. Whoever has the power of a vote should use it fairly, judging the quality of every entry and not picking and choosing which stories to read.

During the Readers' Choice Awards, I received a PM asking me to vote for a certain member's story. I replied that I'm not familiar with the show, so I won't make time to read all of the entries, and without reading all of them, it wouldn't be right to vote for a story based on who wrote it.

I have only had a vote in the Readers' Choice Awards, but before I voted in any category, I read every story in that category entirely. I also took the time to write an encouraging comment on every story. That might not be realistic for this contest, but in general, if I don't comment, the author won't know that I took in the story before voting.

George Bernard Shaw wrote in his play Man and Superman: "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach." Or judge?

Now that you've proved that you can do, you have a better right to judge.

Voting thread hasn't been posted yet and of course m gonna make people read all the entries (or atleast the judges) Good on you for reading all entries for RCA, many people can't because of the length, and that was the point I was trying to make. For a change, people won't look at the length and hit backspace but will read the stories. And as established earlier, participants in no shape or form are allowed to promote their entry for this contest, if they do, their entries will be disqualified
