I'm going to take this chance to encourage you to challenge yourself to write a drabble. Even if not for this contest, that's okay, but maybe follow along and see what you can come up with for yourself 😊

As for IF contests, the FF/WC section did have the Two Shot Contest in Mar/Apr and we do plan on doing more, so stay tuned :P

Simply put it’s a Drabble Contest.

Ahhh, but there’s more... (of course, there is)

- There will be a total of two rounds.

- Each round will explore your creativity.

But of course, it’ll be with a twist…

We will reveal what each round entails as you go

Please only sign up if you can commit to both the rounds.

All round submissions for this contest must be original and new.

This means you cannot use previously written work or base your work on any existing story/show/character/movie etc.

Hey - apologies for not clarifying what a drabble contest is. Mostly writers are aware of the different terminologies for fiction writing so we just assumed everyone wanting to take part would know.

Definition of drabble - Drabble : (typically within 100 words) A drabble is a short work of fiction of ideally one hundred words in total. It is for testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space. (More info on different types of writing can be found here)
