His Epic Journey :) Synopsis and Prologue updated

We all have a story to tell. Why not make it epic? This tale is about the epic journey of Gopu, a very ambitious guy born on 18th June 1936, in Kandanur village, Shivaganga district, India. There were many issues and turbulence in his family, yet he faced them all with a "come what may, I will stay optimistic and strong" attitude. But his father's sudden death turns everything upside down as it sets off a chain of even more disastrous events in his life. Will he recover from this? How? Will he achieve his goals? Who will help him in achieving these?

He felt very old and worn out. He served himself the dinner early at 7 p.m. and retired to a room to sleep after finishing the food, as he does always. He laid back there on a bed allotted to him trying to see through the darkness as he couldn't sleep. It was neither the jarring noise of television coming from the living room nor the cacophony of vehicles down the street that caused him discomfort. But it was her voice, her words, her last words that reverberated in his mind after seven long years that breached his peace.

"Promise me you will stay strong. Our family needs you." said Raji, holding Gopu's hand, lying on the hospital bed, as she took her last breath.

He got up from the bed holding his chest. The hospital scene flashed again and again in front of him.

"No. They don't. They don't need me anymore Raji" mumbled Gopu to himself.
