Alchemist By Paulo Coelho .Another of my least favorites.I found it dull and unnecessarily preachy.I'm not a fan of Coelho's fable writing style and moreover, the message put forward by the book is morally and logically questionable.Only saving grace was that,it was very short. By the way,I don't mean to offend any Alchemist fans. After all.every book will have it's share of critics.😊

DO NOT REMIND ME OF ALLEGIANT. 🤬 Veronica roth should write a book how to ruin an amazing book beyond repair 🤬

I couldn't read any other books for few days after that book. Thank God I read 100 years of Solitude and recovered.

Is it really a best seller?😲

Well, being a best seller doesn't mean much, these days 😛 More often than not, some real gems are not on those lists or not high up. On that note, let me mention that I have no idea what book you guys are talking about 😆

I hate Twilight, as well. Horrible, horrible. And The Reader (Der Vorleser) by Bernhard Schlink, we had to read it in school. It was such a bore. I once tried reading The Godfather by Mario Puzo, and I have no idea why. What a bad decision it was

I am sure there are more books I hated and I just don't recollect them - my mind might have repessed the memoies 😛 Nah, but many books end up being "nice" or "okay" or "so lala" or just "not good, but not horrible, either", I guess 😆

Love in the time of Cholera.

The MP is a jerk and the author has wasted several pages to describe in detail his conquests. Neither do I connect with the story nor with the characters. Don't know what the hype is about.

Wow. People either love Paulo Coelho or hate him. There is no midway! 😆 Same with Stephenie Meyer
