Hi All,
New to this forum ..just came up with this poem ..hope you all like it ..really close to my heart😊
Together we decided, - Together we decided,
To walk on this road.
Although skeptic, I was ready,
To tread the path you showed.
Ups and downs,
Did we see everyday.
Undeterred and unfazed,
We faced them, throughout our way.
With love and care,
we built the castle of our dreams.
Our bond was one such,
For which, with happiness I would always beam.
But slowly, away from me
Did you drift.
Though between us,
There was no rift.
I was happy,
To see you fly high.
Put behind dreams,
That were my.
Things between us,
could have been made better.
I know no reason,
why we let it all shatter.
Sometimes, some things
are better left unsaid.
But for us, this silence drew us apart,
Like a broken thread.
Wish we could break this silence,
Like the sound of chimes.
Coz I feel, something beautiful could have been saved,
Had we spoken on time.
