Two weeks, it had been two weeks since we created the deal and ever since then I haven't seen much of Blake. Every morning I would wake up to see him missing - not that I mind, it's been actually quite peaceful without him. I have been eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner by myself since his grace decides to eat without me - again not that I mind. Occasionally I would call my friends and hang out with them.

By the time Blake gets home, I'm usually in a deep sleep. We didn't sleep in the same room; he slept in his 'home office'. The guy is a workaholic, goes to work early in the morning and comes back late at night. It's been our daily routine now, to be like this.

With him not bothering me and vice versa; these two weeks has been extremely boring. So boring, that I ended up studying. Yes studying, something you would never catch me saying or doing, but hey I did. It even made me think about jobs, life, and future.

I won't be living under Blake's wealth for the rest of my life and after we get divorced, no way in hell will that crazy women let me live in peace especially in that house. That house that was once my 'home sweet home'.

I needed a job that would get me out of boredom and provide me a future. And that is why I am here, - the hospital.

I sat in an empty waiting room for someone to come and let me know if I was selected. The room was filled with the sunlight coming from the six opened windows. It was another spring day, where everything looked perfect even though it wasn't.

Getting up I walk to the nearest window, folding my arms across my chest I look out at the beautiful view. It wasn't a busy city like Manhattan, but rather quiet and peaceful with birds chirping in the cherry blossom trees. I couldn't help but smile at the nice weather.

"Ms. Grayson?" I heard a female voice say my name, I turn to see a brunet girl maybe the same age as me.

I smile, "That's me".

She returned the smile, "Oh great. Follow me," I nod following her. "We have checked your profile, and you're selected," she paused for a while, "however, you have to give a small interview for Dr. Carver who you will be assisting."

"Oh... is that mandatory?" I ask feeling a little iffy about the fact that I have to give another interview.

"Umm... no not really. It just Dr. Carver is very passionate about his work and since you will be working with him now, he just wants to make sure that we didn't make a wrong decision in choosing you."

Wrong decision in choosing me? Excuse me, I may hate science and may not be very passionate about this medical crap. But if I do take my responsibilities seriously.

I give a tight smile, "Oh... is that so," I mutter, "Well then why not. Let's do another interview that shows I'm suitable for this job because you know my straight A's in nursing isn't enough for Dr. Craver."

"I offended you didn't I?" she asked softly guilt evident in her eyes.

I sigh, "A little, yes." "I'm sorry, I dint mean to. It just..."

"It's okay. I get it, Dr. Carver is just worried about his work and the patient" I say with a smile.

"Thank you for understanding," she said, "I'm Stacy by the way."

"Lillian," I introduced myself.

Stacy tells me about all the can-do's and can-not-do's around here. I listen to her carefully taking mental notes as we walk into another empty room.

"We are here," she said.

"Here where?" I ask confused.

She chuckles, "you're a slow one aren't you?" she teases, "this is Dr. Carver's office."

"Oh..." I say as the sudden realization hits me.

Gosh I am slow! Maybe even slower than a tortoise, maybe.

Stacy laughs at me one more time. "Well kiddo, good luck," she said in between her laughs exiting the room.

Sighing, I flop down to the chair putting my head back closing my eyes for a while.

"Grayson?" I heard my name being called once again.

My eyes open only to see a blurred person.

"Are you okay?" he asks checking my forehead. "You don't seem to have a fever," he pulls back looking at me concerned.

I squeeze my eyes shut before opening them once again however this time my vision was back.

There stood a gorgeous guy. That's it. He was gorgeous, pure gorgeous I tell you.

Lilly get a grip!

I force myself to get out of the haze. "Huh?" was all I could say before getting lost in his gorgeousness once again.

His lips curved, "You have been knocked out for the past hour Ms. Grayson."

Oh how great my name sounds on his lips.

Except your ASPEN now, my conscious mocks me.

And that's when I snapped out of my haze.

"HOUR? WHAT?" I almost shout getting up from the chair.

"Woah there we are in a hospital," he chuckled lightly.

I felt my cheeks burning, "Oh right, urm... sorry," I said shyly, "I must have fallen asleep waiting for you."

"Yeah... sorry about that," he said with a guilty smile. I smiled, he was indeed gorgeous - not as gorgeous as Blake - but still gorgeous. He had messy light brown hair with green eyes and a bit of facial hair. He wore casual jeans and a white shirt.

Stop checking out the damn doctor Lilly.

"Oh no it's totally fine," I say quickly looking up at him, "so... umm interview?" I suddenly felt extremely nervous.

"Right that well...," he trailed off looking right into my eyes, "I don't think that's needed. I'll risk it for you."

My heart melted hearing him say that.

"You would?" I ask subconsciously biting my lower lip.

"I would" he replied.

I couldn't help but smile feeling a little shy.

Gosh why do I feel like this?

"So... when do I start Dr. Carver?" I ask breaking the silence between us.

"Call me Aaron Ms. Grayson."

"Call me Lilly then," he laughed at my reply whilst shaking his head.

"As you say Lilly. You can start from today."

"Today?"

"Yes today...? Is there a problem?"

"Uhhh... no, not at all."

"Cool let's go before you fall asleep again" he laughed walking out as I follow behind him feeling embarrassed.

Aaron took me to the kid's section where I will be working for the next three months. This section contained all the kids who were suffering from cancer. Two had brain cancer, one had leukemia and the last one had blood cancer. They were only ten and twelve already in the intermediate stage, and it broke my heart just knowing that.

Aaron decided to check on the boys with brain cancer telling me to go see the girl with leukemia. I heard she was only ten and came into the hospital three months ago. Her chemo was done but she has to stay under observation until a bone marrow donor is found.

As I entered her room, I saw her sitting on the bed playing with her teddy bear. I fought back the tears that was starting to form placing a smile on my face.

"Hey there," I said sweetly walking to her bed.

She looked at me confused, "Are you Aaron's girl-friend?"

My eyes widened, "WHAT? No, no. I'm the new nurse..." I said blushing.

She stared at me for a while before giggling. "You looked funny denying that," she giggled even more.

I couldn't stay mad at her assumptions or words instead I giggled with her.

"Where's Aaron?" she asked looking behind me trying to find him.

"He went to check on Taylor, he'll be here soon don't worry" I said.

"Oh... okay" she said quietly, "what's your name?"

"Lilly and yours?" I ask.

"I like your name. Lilies are my favorite flower," she said with a bright smile, "I am Ellie."

"Awe thank you Ellie, I like your name too. And tomorrow I'll bring Lilies just for you" I said.

"Really?" her little blue eyes grew.

I nod, "Really!"

"Yay you're the best the Lilly," she said excitedly dropping the teddy on her bed as she hugged me.

"I thought I was the best," I heard him say making me feel some type of a way.

I turn to see Aaron, I smile. "Well I guess you're not anymore," I tease him sticking my tongue out like a little kid. He rolled his eyes moving towards us.

"I can't believe your choosing her over me Ell" he said faking heart, another drama queen.

Ellie let go of me giggling as she looked over to Aaron.

"Lilly will get me lilies Aaron!" she said.

"But I get you cherry blossoms!" he argued like a kid making faces.

Gosh he's so cute when he makes those face.

"But Lilly is cute."

"You said I was cute."

"But Lilly looked funny and red when I called her your girlfriend."

Oh no. Why did you say that Ellie!

"Lilly what?" he asked amused looking over at me.

I glared at Ellie trying to avoid Aaron's gaze on me that only made me get redder.

Why am I blushing? I don't like him... do I?

"I wasn't red and I didn't look funny!" I argued with them.

"But Lilly you did!!" Ellie whined.

I could see Aaron's amused face from the corner of my eyes.

"You sure Lilly? Kid's don't lie," he smirked.

I turn to him ready to tell him that he is wrong, KIDS DO LIE.

But this kid isn't lying Lil, stop denying it.

Right when I was about to open my mouth, my phone rang. I took my phone out and my eyes grew even wider reading the caller's ID.

Blake.

"Who's Blake?" I heard Ellie ask.

I stared at the screen even more as it kept on ringing. Finally snapping out realizing that I am not dreaming that Blake is actually calling me.

"He's my husband," I found myself saying.

Do you guys think Lilly will fall for Aaron and vice versa? And OH how will Blake's reaction be to this?!?! Well that should be interesting. And the little kids who is suffering from cancer is tragic.

I decided to add that on, because let's face it Cancer is a big deal right now and is ruining many lives all over the world. I personally know someone who was recently diagnosed with cancer and I support her. May god bless her and give a long life. So guys, please pray for everyone who is going through this tragic trauma and if you know anyone like this, let them know your there for them.

Okay enough of me lecturing, I hope you guys liked this update. It wasn't romancefull, if that's even a word... but I hope it gave you guys a little laugh and something interesting to look forward to. Also guys two requests to be made, please add my PM account, -Saphira- in order to receive pms, if you don't add that account you might not get a pm and will miss out on Blake and Lillian's interesting life. (I hope it's interesting?)

And #2 can you guys try to give like at least a sentence comment? These one word comments were the sole reasons I left writing long ago and I don't want to go through that again. I am not asking for more, just at least a sentence that lets me know that I am doing something right or even wrong. Any is fine. And if you reserve a post make sure to unres before I update, I will let you know when to unres but still just try to unres asap.
