I'm so sorry, I just never saw this beauty before. You know, those two can be friends...but I wonder if there is an undercurrent of something else. I personally love this, it's open ended and lets readers wonder. :D

That's okay, really. :)

You know, I meant these two to be the there-but-not-quite-there type of friends.

It's like, I'm really close to a friend, so much so that people ask us whether we are sisters, but we are not.

Similarly, these two are close enough to be lovers, but they are not.

They are best friends, and would hopefully remain so.

Coz honestly, I've had enough of the besties-to-lovers concept. It's cliched, overdone and annoying.
