HI all. just wanted to try my hand at writing, so thought to write a short story. ignore if there are any spelling or grammatical mistakes and pls give your reviews and comments on it. Your feedback will be valued and taken into consideration. i will continue the rest of the story tomorow. She heard thunderous applause, lots of clapping and saw happy faces all around her as her name 'Pari Kirloskar" was announced for the best debut actress in the filmfare awards. She was just 23 years old and was extremely good looking with creamy complexion, straight black hair which caressed her shoulders and tiny hips which moved with sensational promise. She was in a beautiful off shoulder black gown with high heeled black leather sandals. At 23, striking in her youth ,she was the epitome of health and beauty and was used to the admiring glances all around her.
She floated towards the stage to receive her award with tears in her eyes. This was the happiest moment of her life. She looked at her parent's happy smiling faces and knew she had made them proud.
She remembered her school days when she was just a silly little teenager, nervous, afraid , clumsy and shy. How often she used to get afraid by just seeing the boys in her class, leave aside talking to them, that almost seemed impossible. she was also damn afraid of spiders, even thinking about them used to make her scream like mad. she always preferred staying at home she was afraid of people, she felt everyone would laugh at her and make fun of her. She was a very reserved person and now when she looked back she realised what a long way she had come from then.
It was almost like turning into a beautiful swan overnight from an ugly duckling. After thanking everyone in her speech starting from her producer to her family, she came down with poise, grace and oodles of confidence. she was an enigma and liked considering herself mysterious.
She had broken thousands of hearts and would break more if anyone ever tried distancing her from her mother. Young , handsome men pinned for her but that dint deter her at all. She was quiet cold hearted in that respect. Her mom Sneha was the loveliest woman she had ever known. She loved her mom with a madness, ferocity which only increased with each new day.
