Mesmerized
The stars twinkle in her midnight eyes;
The eyes that look beyond all his lies;
That ignore the bad and consider only the nice;
Those eyes, they leave him mesmerized.
Her smile as warm as summer sunshine;
Bestowed so unexpectedly, it takes him by surprise;
The incandescence of which makes him feel energized;
That smile, it leaves him mesmerized.
Her voice like a tinkling windchime;
An epiphany to make him realize;
His worth, and his impact on her life;
Her voice, it leaves him mesmerized.
Her hand on his shoulder is a pressure fine;
The comfort of her embrace makes him lose all time;
Her kisses are such he could only fantasize;
The whole of her, she has him mesmerized.

Methinks I suck at poetry. *sighs*
Written on an impulse.
Terrible, I know. But the criticism would be appreciated.
Thank you for reading!
