The journey is indeed important.

*Slap* for thinking I wouldn't read something just because its not a fanfiction. I really loved this it was like a collage of thoughts that seem to be random yet fit in so perfectly.

There are some things I could really relate to- the chai wala. I remember *anecdote time* when I went to India when I was 15 I think, I went on a religious pilgrimage with my mom and dad and we were walking, I don't remember where I think Mathura or something, and there were people sitting on little cycle-rickshaws and boy-LITERALLY BOYS that were just about as old as I was at the time pulling the rickshaws. There were like 2 pretty heavy people on one rickshaw and a boy who was probably 1/16th the size of them pulling it.

That one incident really touched me. Hearing about poverty and helplessness, seeing it in the media--they are at their own place but seeing it first-hand really brings you to tears.

It makes wonder where things are going with mankind. We have something called life and yet we are hell bent to do everything we can do suck the life out of being human. The foliage and the ironic cement was a really nice touch.

Overall this was a very thoughtful piece of writing. Very deep.

I loved it.
