Dear Sam,

Your Jane seems to be a very twisted female. Retreating in a shell and not coming forth to tackle the issue head-on.

Or maybe...
She is another kind of twisted and wishes to harass you a litlle for what you did to her. You know pull this stunt of being all formal with you just to get you to pamper her. To see that would you care to soothe her hurt even if she puts up a facade of nonchalance.
Anger, like any other emotion, puts you in a vulnerable position. It lays open your heart for all to see how scared you are within. Only the brave can take that risk. The fearful disguise it with indifference. Truly twisted, right?
She wouldn't let on what she wants from you. But wait with aniticipation for you to fulfill her unspoken wishes. It is tiring to always be looking out for others. Once in a while you wish for someone to come along and look out for you.
And the twisted female that she is, your letter is the kind of gesture that will certainly draw her out of her shell.
Don't let this letter stay in your drafts. Your words might be the antidote to her silence.
Sincerely,
An interested by-stander

something almost everyone goes through at one point. it may not be just between two friends. there are times when your relationship with the other person falls apart and you try your best to make every thing "normal" but little do you know nothing really is normal anymore. impulse to write away your innermost feelings yet it always ends up in your draft box.

would it be wrong to say its only your ego stopping you from hitting the send button before its too late?

^Is it really ego or a doubt that you don't have that right anymore to vent out your frustration?

Beautiful! Once again you have managed to hit home with this one. The thoughts, feelings are so real and at some points I can really connect. Really at times when the person you love starts being formal with you...alarm bells start ringing! lol. Seriously cold treatment is worse than arguing.
Nicely penned down here, good work! :)

Um...can it be fear of rejection? You know you have done something wrong and you believe it might be too late so you are scared that even if you will try to make things right the other person won't believe in your efforts. And that thought, that you will be rejected or the other person won't even acknowledge you or no second chance...this fear is really bad too. I mean we mostly don't attempt things because we fear failure and try to stay safe. Don't know if its right or wrong but fear of rejection or failure is too big at times. Guess I'm blabbering now so will stop. 😛

i know the english word ego can be misleading a bit because it is seen only in negative light. when i say ego i mean the process of seeing myself different from the the other. ego here is the presence of feeling i am different from things around me. when you say doubt that you dont have the right to vent out your frustration is just saying you are now considering yourself different from your friend whom until the drift saw as your own self.

First off I loved this piece as I can totally relate to the writer here. I have an almost daily habit of writing something which stays in the draft folder, good bad ugly its there.
What you are saying about losing the right to vent is the writers frustration as well as the other persons hurt. If the hurt is soothed anything can be expressed; it's the hurt that is the wall.
Sometimes the hurt can be positive also. Whenever the heart suffers any damage, new capillaries are formed that help it survive. It is the same in relationships of value that new avenues are found to understand each other and redefine the relationship.. Show me a couple who has never fought and I will show you a very weak relationship.. When you slip and I hold you trust builds in the both of us; in you that I will be there; in me that I will be able to be there... so this part is neccesary in friends..
too much bhashan... old habit..sowie..
thanks for the writing...
waiting to catch up with your blog as my fever subsides and brain cells return to full normal function😊
