In Class, Aarthi and Anjali find their other good friend Jay saving them some seats in the midde of the lecture hall. They sat down and got their stuff out, while talking as they waited for the professor to enter the classroom.
Jay: Hey, I've got to tell you guys something very important!!!
Aarthi: What is it?
Jay: You know that guy over there, Paul? You know how I recently started talking to him cause he's in one of my other classes.
Anjali: Yea ...
Jay: Well, the other day, we were randomly talking about this class and he started to ask about you too.
Aarthi: Uhhh... nothing too bad right?
Jay: Nothing bad.. until he started asking about Anjali.
Anjali had a shocked reaction on her face as Jay went on explaining what Paul had asked him.
Jay: So he asked what program you are in and what not. Then it got personal that I was like hold on dude, she's my friend and you can't ask me stuff like that and let alone don't even think about her that way!
Aarthi: What did he specifically ask?
Jay: Well I stopped him before he went on, but he asked if Anjali was the one-night stand type.
Anjali: And you didn't do anything about it?!?
Jay: Don't worry. I dissed him off for asking me such a thing. But also, he's a bit sketchy. So if you see him around campus, like literally bolt the other way!
Aarthi: What do you mean by sketchy?
Jay: Well, I asked him what he's studying. He said he was doing economics but he went on about taking math courses and what not. Which is kinda weird cause he should be taking more economics courses. And also, apparently he's not even taking this class or the other class that we are in together. He says he's 27 years old. I don't know, I'm sensing bad vibes from him, so stay away Anjali if you see him.
Anjali was shocked at what was going on. She doesn't know this Paul person except for that fact that he was in this one class of hers. She's seen him randomly around campus, but she never went up and talked to him.
Anjali: I don't have a reason to talk to him.
Aarthi: Maybe we should report him.
Anjali: As far as we are concerned, we should just avoid him at all cost. I do see him around campus, but I've never talked to him before, so yea. There isn't anything that we can do about it.
Jay: I'm warning you. Be careful. Call me whenever if you need help or something.
Aarthi: Same here. You better or if I find out later that there was trouble, then you will be in so much trouble with me.
Anjali: Chill Jay. I'm not a kid. I know what to do. If I do feel threatened, I'll kick him where it most hurts and run away. Don't worry about me.
Jay: I'm just...
Anjali: Don't worry guys. I know what to do. Those Taebo classes could go to some use now.
With that the three friends stopped talking as the professor had entered the classroom.
Even through they were paying attention to the lecture, they at one point had seen Paul turn around and smile at them. Both Anjali and Aarthi looked away while Jay waved at him.
Aarthi nudged Jay and raised her eyebrows to ask, "What was that for?"
Jay took out his cellphone, as he could not speak since the lecture was going on,
Jay --> Aarthi and Anjali:
We don't want him to be suspicious of anything.
Anjali --> Jay and Aarthi:
He is dumb if he thinks that you would tell us everything. But I agree. It may come in handy one day.
Aarthi -->Jay and Anjali
We will worry about this later. Put away your cellphones before the professor takes it away!
With that the friends put their cellphones away and paid attention to the lecture.
As soon as the lecture ended, the three friends bolted out the door before Paul had a chance to talk to Jay.
