hey ppl i'm Priya and well i've never been to this section of IF ever before. and well right now i just needed some opinion so i turned to this forum. there's this contest for which our teacher encouraged us to write something and well i wrote this poem last night. thought i'd post it here and get some feedback. so tell me what u guys think of it. plz feel free to post ur opinion gud or bad. 😊k so here I go:
Once Upon A Fairytale
Once upon a dream,
I looked into your eyes,
Those dreamy blue eyes,
Eyes the color of the ocean,
Eyes that took my breath away,
And left me speechless.
Once Upon a dream,
We met by a creek,
Under the midnight blue sky,
The sky radiating with stars,
Sky that is everlasting,
Just like you and me.
We met every night
We danced by the weeping willow,
Till the break of dawn.
Under the dreamy light of the moon,
It's aura fulfilling the moment,
With it's magic.
We sat by the pond,
We held hands,
And gazed into each other's eyes.
We felt a bond so strong and magical,
As if our souls were connected.
And then I knew,
I knew I had lost my heart to you.
Suddenly my perfect fairytale was on fire,
Sunlight shone on my eyes,
Shattering my fantasy.
The sun ascended,
And reality settled in.
I opened my eyes,
Only to find myself in your arms.
Thank god for you are not a fantasy,
Not a fairytale.
You are my reality,
My real life fairytale.
