No, that was not the intention of the story. Hypocrisy in this story was not with respect to changing times but with the conflicts of fundamental values against the expected social response.

A yes and a no, right and a wrong, a left and a right, good and bad- these co-exist. Scaling the above is not possible. You can know whether they exist or not but never to how much extent they exist. What we are comfortable with we tend to believe either by ourselves or because of someone's pressure. Again, its not always to be sticking to it. One can never be able to see the same light always. An argument on this can never end in peace.

oh man, i feel like ive missed out on a ton 😭 im going to catch up in reading everything and comment soon. i absolutely love your stories sookie. and im so happy to see that you've got another story type of thing (maidens and madmen) and i cant wait to read those either 🤗
