LOL yup promotions... Imtiaz should pay me if he's movie becomes a hit. btw your characters are named meera and jai? did you got inspired by LAK's names?

I've always loved the name Meera and was planning on using it anyways. That one wasn't inspired by LAK. But I couldn't think of the guy's name and then I found out Saif was playing a guy named Jai. Jai and Meera sounded perfect so I went with it. :P

oh okay...LOL did you saw saif's press conference. He asked Imtiaz, "I read three or four of your scripts and all the girls are named Meera. Why is that?"...;LOL

While walking towards the cafe, Meera's phone rang. It was Naina, asking why she wasn't home yet. Meera replies that she just got off work and was planning on getting something to eat before coming home, "but why are you worried?"

Naina says, "I am not worried, come home now, there's something here waiting to meet you!"
"Who?" asked a confused Meera.
"You'll see when you get here. I already made lunch so hurry up!"
"You can really be a pain sometimes, Naina, ok. I am leaving right now; be there in 15."

After she hung up, Jai said, "you have to go?"
"Yeah, I am sorry. There is some kind of surprise guest at home."
"Ok, that's fine. I'll see you later."
"Bye. I'll call you!" with that Meera walked back to her car and Jai went to get something to eat.

When she got home, she opened the door and it smelled marvelous. Naina was such a good cook; it often made her wish she could cook. She called out to Naina, "I am home."

Naina asked her to come to the kitchen and there Meera saw her mom standing! "Mom! What a surprise. What are you doing here?"

"Hey, nothing special. I wanted to come and see how you were doing."
"Mom, I was just home a few days ago."
"I know that, but can't I visit my daughter?"

Naina laughed and gave her mom a tight hug. "It smells great, doesn't it! Naina is the best cook ever, just like you!"
"Naina is definitely a good cook; it all looks yummy. I can't wait to start eating."

With that, they started setting up the table and then ate together; talking about nothing special. While eating, Naina started wondering why her mom was really there. She had never just come up to "see how she was doing" like that.

Her mom and Meera made Naina sit down and watch tv after they were done eating; they did the dishes together and Meera asked, "so, mom. Are you going to tell me why you are really here?"

She let out a nervous laugh, "how did I know you were going to ask again?"
"I don't know. You know me too well, I guess."
"Seems like you know me well too. But anyways, like I said earlier, it really was nothing special. I truly just wanted to see you.. and ask you what the plans are for the summer coming up. I hope you are coming home. We miss you so much."

"Aw, mom. You drove all the way over here for that! I haven't decided on plans; I was thinking I'll take some classes, but now I am thinking I'll just come home and relax from school. It's stressing me out too much."

"Yeah, that is written all over your face. I've been worried since you were sick last time."

"Oh, now I get it. That is why you are really here."
"To see how you are doing."
"Of course, of course."

After mom left, Meera was left thinking summer is approaching and if she goes home for the vacation, she won't see Jai for the whole three months.

great update yaar.. but you are going ver slowly when you update its small and that too you updating only once a week.. what is this yaar anyways, am so happy meera n jai got together 🤣 now.. why meera mom is there😲 i wonder how she wil take it when she finds out about M's bf 😆😆 aww.. 3 whole months😭 but this wil only stregnthen their relationship na.. 😆
