These past few episodes have been rather intriguing and kind of fast-paced.
After yesterday's slow romance and beautiful moments, today was a quicker episode.
First we have the sudden fixing of the car and Aditya and Jhanvi returning to their respective homes. While Aditya is dragged away by Nisha, eager to wish Aditya first, Jhanvi is still lost in the day's happenings. What was best about this scene was the contrast in the celebration. Aditya was happy just eating a pav and celebrating his birthday with Jhanvi, but he couldn't even stand a second of the intricate set-up that Nisha had made. The other contrast was the way both celebrated. Jhanvi made it all about Aditya even in that garage, but Nisha just kept complaining about how she had done so much work and it all got washed away. Then she tried to make it about them, but Aditya saw right through her facade and left. Loved the contrast and I especially loved how Nisha imagined Jhanvi laughing at her.
The CVs have done a good job writing Nisha's character in these past few episodes. Gone is the conniving bitch and instead we have a desperate bitch who knows her days are numbered and she'll do anything to get them back. Seeing her desperation today to win Aditya over, I have a feeling that the dance points towards Nisha blackmailing Aditya. Aditya said a line to Nisha that has stuck with me: you're only here because of the kids. Aditya handed Nisha his key on a plate. Nisha is desperate and Aditya brought her back because of the kids, his lifeline. All she needs to do is apply some pressure on Aditya that she'll do something to the kids and viola Aditya is "hers", so to speak. I do have a strong feeling though that this won't work for long. And that leads to the next part of the episode.
Aditya and Babasa had a long conversation about Jhanvi and remarriage and finally Aditya's true feelings are coming out. Jhanvi is someone special for him. That's as good as saying that he loves her. And he was only holding back because of his first marriage, his kids, and his age. But today Babasa sat him down and explained to him that Jhanvi would accept and handle everything because he knows it explicitly and implicitly. Even if Jhanvi's letter had never fallen in Babasa's hands I have a feeling he would have realized that Jhanvi is perfect for Aditya just by the way she handles things around the house, that's why I say implicitly. Now that Aditya is realizing that he loves Jhanvi, it won't be long before he is able to pull out from under Nisha and stop her from using the kids. But until then he will continue to hurt himself, his family, and Jhanvi so that nothing happens to his kids, which is where the precap and the dance come in.
Now let's put Aditya, Jhanvi, and Nisha aside for a little while. We have this new mystery slowly developing. This shadow who keeps going after Babasa. Now there has been some discussion about this possibly being Raj and today the CVs almost made it seem like it was Raj. After all Aditya chased the shadow downstairs and the only person who had been downstairs and awake was Raj who went to the kitchen for water when there was a jug in his room. Yep it sure looks like it is Raj. But I'm feeling otherwise and I say so because of the following:
- Firstly why would Raj just keep attacking Babasa? If he wants attention or the property then technically he should be getting rid of Kakasa and Kakisa. After all Aditya turned all the property over to them. Additionally now that everyone knows that Babasa keeps getting targeted, he could literally kill anyone else because no one else is on guard for their life. They are all worried about Babasa.
- Secondly, if it is him would he make it so obvious as to come out of the kitchen while everyone is searching for the said attacker and making a sorry excuse that he went to get water? Call me crazy, but if I was attacking someone and I almost got caught, I would hide out in the kitchen, maybe jump out the window and come in from another window and then come in from that room, or jump out the window and stay there until the matter subsided. By coming out of the kitchen and making a lame excuse, Raj is basically begging everyone to suspect him.
- Thirdly, why would Raj go around at a time when someone is up and could see him? First Aditya saw the shadow. Then yesterday Nisha saw it. And then again today Aditya saw it. If Raj really wants to kill Babasa then he lives in the house and can do it any time. Like when he's getting Babasa water, he can easily poison the water. Or he can wait until late into the night when everyone is asleep to attack. Or he can mix something in the food that Nisha or Neha make and then the suspicion falls on them. Better yet, if his end goal is to get rid of everyone, then killing everyone at the same time is the best option, especially if he almost dies as well or if he is away on a "business trip" when the attack happens.
My point is that it seems almost too obvious for it to be Raj. Of course I could be wrong and this could be an obvious attacker. But if this is what the CVs are planning then I'm sorry to see this show going down the same route as most Indian TV shows.
What would be a better idea would be if this is someone from Babasa's past or someone related to Nisha. For the former, it would make such an interesting story. Just imagine, years ago Babasa helped someone who turned out to be a killer and killed X's parents. Now X is back to take revenge from Babasa thinking that Babasa was involved. Yeah it's cliched, but still so interesting. Of course the latter is more possible. Because even if Nisha has become desperate, it doesn't make her any less conniving. The desperation could all be a ruse to divert suspicion off her for the attacks. Maybe her actual plan is to kill everyone and then get the property on her name. She's first trying to get Babasa killed because if she went straight after Kakasa and Kakisa it would arouse suspicion. Oh man this is giving me major story ideas. Moving on.
Finally I have one last point to make. The "tum" that Aditya said. As soon as Aditya said that all I kept begging was "don't backtrack, don't backtrack, don't backtrack", but obviously a confession can't come so soon. But what I loved best about that was the change in roles. Up until now it has been Jhanvi who has been hiding her love and possibly (I don't know since I didn't watch before) recovering from accidentally revealing her love, but now it's Aditya's turn. Jhanvi knows and understands the feeling of love. She knows that she can hide it or at least not confess it. But now it's Aditya's turn to understand what it feels like to love someone, to hide it, to not let the other know. That little "tum" was a big step towards Aditya accepting that he loves Jhanvi. And based on that SBS segment shared on the forum I have a feeling that Aditya will also realize that Jhanvi loves him or at least get a hint towards the same because Jhanvi looked heartbroken and seeing her face there was sadness even on Aditya's face.
