Episode 16 : Another Story Begins

Next morning, the assembly takes place in the main auditorium. The seniors stand in the front while juniors in the back ad they had lost the night call. Urmila ma'am enters the auditorium and climbs on the stage,

UMaam - Good morning and welcome to a new semester of warrior high. This year is going to be different than the last year and all the years before. Before going into the future, let's talk about the past. This year's night call. As you all know, iss saal ke winners hain Seniors, the batch of 2016-2017. I request you to come in front to light the lamp.

One by one the seniors walk in front and light the lamp. After finishing it, they get back into their lines,

UMaam - Most of you must have noticed. There's been a lot of changes in the school. Both rules aur infrastructure mein. The whole concept of houses are removed to ensure coordination and avoid house conflicts. Iss saal ke baad, sab kuch aapki class ke hissab se hoga except for your sports days which will be based on your houses. Aapke dorms bhi class ke hisaab se allot kiya gaya hai. So there are 4 dorm rooms, one in each corner of the ground floor. Dorms ke andhar hi changing rooms aur bathrooms hoga. So you don't have to come out of your dorms at night. There will be only one head boy and one head girl; and house captains for each house. From now on, there will be Detentions. If you do something wrong, you'll serve a detention. In light of recent events, school ke bahar fence lagaya gaya hai so that you don't get into the forest. School ke campus mein CCTV surveillance bhi lagaya gaya hai. Also, you'll be having a work shop on self defence. It's a 8 classes course which will be held for a month. These are the rules as of now. Freshers party kal raat hogi. Freshers, be prepared. And today, you'll get a full orientation of all the traditions, curriculum, rules and regulations of warrior high. That's all for now. And Juniors, I welcome you again to Warrior High. All the best. I hope you have a great year ahead. Thank you.

The 12 grade students are seen sitting in the English room. This year, the students were segregated not on the basis of house and hence, our warriors were in the same class except for science and commerce classes where they had to go to separate classes. Each class has around 25-30 students on random mix basis.

U - Aisa lagraha hai ke hum abhi abhi aaye hain. Aur itney saarey din nikal gaye.

Ni - Haan! Aise lagta hai ke humhara freshers party abhi abhi khatam hua hai. Par ek saal ho gaya.

T - Last year tak, sab kuch house wise ho raha tha! And now all of a sudden it's class wise.

C - Competition toh tough hai.

Vd - Haan! Average mein, ek house mein 20 students. Being the best among 80 is different than being best among 20 nah.

U - Point toh hai. But pichley saal Freshers party aur Talent round ke beech mein kitna drama yaar!

S - Haan! Bohat drama!

Parth, Utkarsh, Krissan, Charlie, Niti and Sid smile thinking about the previous year,

A (childish) - Stop it you guys! Main tab nahi thi toh aisa irritate nahi karni chahiye. Not fair.

They all start laughing seeing Angela's cute lamenting.

In the juniors room at night, Megha is seen reading the warrior high's curriculum giving weird looks. A girl approaches her,

E - Hi. Megha right?

Me (rude) - Ya!

E - I'm Eneya.

Me - Koi kaam tha kya?

E - Nahi toh. Arey dosti karney ke liye aayi hoon.

Me - Sorry! Not interested.

E - What?

Me - Kaha na! Not interested.

E - Fine! Agar kuch chahiye toh you can approach. Anytime.

Me - Whatever.

Eneya gave an awkward look and signals the other girls standing around. All of them leave spot when Kamini ma'am enters the room,

KMaam - Aap sabhi ke maatha pita ne Fresher's party ke liye vashtr bheja hai. Apna apna le lijiye. Par anushasan mein rehen kar

All the students take their dresses. Megha opens hers to find a pink long gown seeing which she gives a disgusted look.

Girl1 - Excuse me! Tumhara parcel.

Megha gives a confused look and finds another parcel on her name. When she opens it, she finds a black long dress. She smiles seeing it and sees a letter attached to it.

"Hey super star,

Our favourite colour for my favourite girl.

- Daddu"

She smiles and keeps the letter inside the drawer on her writing table.

Next day morning, the girls and boys are made to wake up at 5am and go for dancing and jogging respectively.

<sawaali si raat bgm>

As they cross each other, Charlie and Niti look at each other and smile and so do Trishna and Ishaan. Krissan does a small flying kiss to Utkarsh to which he looks around if someone was seeing him and acts like catching it. Seeing this, Sid remembers last year when Siyali and himself crossed each other's path. Even though it seemed like they didn't look at each other, they did. Sid looked at Siyali when she looked at Utkarsh while Siyali looked towards Sid when she felt like she was noticed. Vidurshi didn't look at Rohan. As they started moving, she turned back to see Rohan. When he notices this, she turns front and gives a reaction that she shouldn't have done this. Angela sees this and nods her head with a smile.

Megha looks at Vidyut and wonders again. PoV "Pakka jaanti hoon. But kahan se?" She thinks as they walk into the dance class.

The girls reach the dance class to find a women wearing saree in classical dance and dancing. They stand smiling and watch her dance. When she finishes, the students clap their hands,

Maam - Good morning! I'm Gayathri Menon. Apki dance teacher. Aur kuch nahi hai mere baare mein. This year, You'll be having classical dance classes on Saturday evening and Sunday mornings only. Aaj pehli class hai, So tum log dance karogey aur main sirf dekhoongi. Toh pehle kaun aaney waala hai?

All of them smile and look right and left to see who was going first. Niti stepped in. While Gayathri ma'am smiled, the others sat around.

While jogging, Karthick sir was followed by the seniors and then by the juniors. As they jogged,

Junior1 - Short cut letey hain?

X - Haan! Ab thoda slow kartey hain, phir humhara short cut ley letey hai.

From behind,

FSir - Why are you guys slowing down?

They turn behind to see Aditya sir and another sir standing behind them

Junior2 - Fahad Sir? Adi Sir? Aap dono yahan?

FSir - Hum bhi incharge hain. To make sure you don't escape from behind. Chalo chalo.

Junior3 (trying to manage) - Buss 2 minute ka rest sir.

FSir - Toh main wait kar leta hoon.

Adi - Sir, you go. Main inke saath aata hoon.

FSir - Ok fine.

As Fahad sir leaves the place, Aditya sir approaches a disappointed juniors.

Adi - Sorry guys! Tum sab ka small trip to maggie point has to be cancelled. Chaley! Go! Go!

The junior boys give a sheepish look and continue jogging. After few minutes,

Junior3 - Plan ka satyanaash ho gaya yaar.

Junior4 - Arey yaar! Mujhe na woh jail waali feeling aarahi hai. Jab kaidiyon ko ek jail se doosrey jail ley jaatey hai na, woh waali feeling.

X - What to do guys! Rules zyaada strict hogaye. Ek galti karey aur hum sab bhugatey.

Alex and the gang stare at Sid who was jogging few feet away from them.

Episode 17 : U and Us

During the fresher's party, the juniors are seen wearing their dresses and tuxedos while the seniors were in their uniforms. The hall was decorated with balloons of pink in one side and blue on the other. The tables were kept with names on juniors. There was a photo booth where the juniors could click picture if they wanted. Few of the boys and girls were seen standing and chit chatting,

X - So tumhe warrior high kaisa laga?

Y - It's nice. Thoda ajeeb hai. Mere puraney school mein itney politics nahi tha.

E - You'll get used to it.

Y - Shayad.

X - Yeh rahi tumhari dost. Uska mood theek nahi lag raha hai.

They turn to see Megha enter the auditorium with an irritated look.

E - I guess, woh normally aisi hai.

Y - Par, aaj toh zyaada kharaab lag raha hai.

She turns behind and gives a disgusted look. They turn towards the source of such disgust. Sid walks by giving a stare.

Junior1 (M) - Shayad Sid se jhagda ho gaya.

Y - Phir se? 2 din mein 5th time. Har bar woh kuch ajeeb sa karney ki koshish karti, Sid usse pakadta hai aur lamba sa lecture deta hai.

E - Lamba lectures? Shayad Siyali ka influence!

Y - Yeh Siyali koun hai?

Junior2 (M) - Sid ki girl friend or something like that.

Junior3 (F) - Woh dono koi relationship mein nahi the. Par bohat kuch chal raha tha un dono ke beech mein.

Y - I thought, last year tum logon ne apne seniors se mingle hi nahi ki. Then how do you about all this?

X - Sid aur Siyali ki story itna famous thi ke poora school uske baarey mein jaanta hai. We don't know the specifics. But we knew what was going on.

E - Seriously, Itna drama chal raha tha ke They could've made a series out of it.

Megha was seen standing behind them listening to this. They all stare at each other when

Maam - Please settle down students, the program will start shortly.

They all settle down in their respective seats when Urmila ma'am climbed on the stage and,

UMaam - Good evening. I welcome you all to Warrior High's Fresher's day Party 2016. This year's arrangements have been delegated to the seniors who've done a fantastic job. Don't you think? A big hand for the seniors.

All of them clap their hands seeing the beautiful decorations.

UMaam - Also, your seniors have put together a theme for you based on which you're whole event will take place. Let's start the event with the first performance from you're seniors which will tell you about the theme for the evening.

As the students clap, Urmila ma'am gets down from the stage which becomes dark,

Ladki kyoon na jaane kyoon ladkon si nahin hoti

Rohan is seen standing in the spot light along with microphone and singing.

<music starts>

As the music starts, Vidyut comes along playing the guitar while Trishna and Lucky plays the keyboards and drums respectively Also, from the other side, Vidurshi come in. As they cross, Rohan and Vidurshi stare at each other.

Sochti hai zyaada, kam voh samajhti hai

Dil kuch kehta hai, kuch aur hi karti hai

Ladki kyoon na jaane kyoon ladkon si nahin hoti - 2

As he sings, Rohan along with Vidurshi act on stage as if Rohan was blaming Vidurshi and Vidurshi acting like she didn't care. As Vidurshi walks away from Rohan, few other girls and boys join them

<music continues>

The boys and girls do a small dance after which they go back and start while Rohan and Vidurshi enacted,

Sab se alag hai tum ye keh ke paas tumhare aaye

Aur kuch din me tum me alag sa kuch bhi na usko paiye

"Uff ye kaisi shirt pehnte ho

Ye kaise bal katate ho

Ghadi tez chalate ho

Tum jaldi me kyo khate ho"

Bikhra bikhra bematlab sa toota phoota jeena

Aur kehte ho alag se hai hum taanke apna seena

"Bheega toya kahin farsh pe, toothpaste ka dhakkan kahin

Kal ke moze ulat ke pehne, waqt ka kuch bhi hosh nahin"

The enactment was funny that most of them were laughing. Vidurshi was acting like questioning Rohan on his shirt and pulling his hair. While Rohan acted like driving the car fast and stuffing the food in his mouth for which Vidurshi gave a disgusted look. Seeing them do cute things on stage, their friends were laughing.

Ek ha kehne ko kitna dehlati hai

Thak jate hai hum woh ji behlati hai Woh sharmati hai kabhi chupati hai Ladki jo ha kehde usse nibhati hai

The boys from behind come and arrange themselves like a bench while Rohan acted like pleading Vidurshi who didn't care. He lies on the human bench acting tired. While the girls along with Vidurshi help her act her part out.

Iss liye ladkiya ladko si nahi hoti - 2

Na na. Ladki kyoon na jaane kyoon ladkon si nahin hoti

The girls along with Vidurshi dance while the boys gave an irritated look. As she danced, Vidurshi was pushing Rohan who was giving an angry look. They start looking at each other and singing as if they were arguing.

<music - Whistle>

They stare at each other and walk their separate paths when a hum sized cardboard shaped 'Hum' and 'Tum' arrive on the stage.

The audience clap as the performance get over. From behind the cardboards come Utkarsh and Krissan to host the event

K - Iss se patha chala hoga ke theme kya hai?

U - It's not hum tum. The theme is Boys yaani ke hum versus Girls yaani ki tum.

K - Usse toh theme Hum Tum hi toh hui.

U (in a funny tone) - Aisa hi rakh dete hain. Aaj tak, Freshers party mein hum sab ne ek partner ke saath dance kiya hai. Par aaj, No partners.

K - That is, This time boys and girls are not going to be partners but you're rivals. It's gonna be like a face off.

U - End mein 3 boys

K - And 3 girls

U - Will be selected for round 2.

K - Saath aur Saath, boys aur girls mein se winners bhi choose karnege.

U - Along with our main event, humne aap sab ke liye chotey mootey games aur events bhi organise ki hai.

K - Aur uske winners ko milenge gifts. Warrior high se nahi. Hum seniors se, to show how much we love you juniors.

The juniors hoot teasingly while the seniors laugh at this line.

U - So Shuru kare?

Some - Yes!

U - Sunnayi nahi diya! (Shouts) - Shuru karein?

All (shouts) - Yesss!

While the celebration was going on in one side, Parth was seen standing near a window and looking at the sky,

A - Oye Hero? Tumhe kya hua?

P - Kuch nahi.

A - Koi toh problem hai! I know tumhe share karna pasand nahi hai. But tumhe bura nahi lagega toh main ek baath batha'on.

P - Ok!

A - Problems toh hum sab ko hote hani. Apne problem ke baarey mein socho ge toh sirf tension milta hai. But agar apne problem ko chodkey doosron ke problem ke baarey mein socho toh apney problem se relief aur doosron ka bhi support. 2 in 1 you know. Jab Siyali mari toh dard toh sab ko laga, but hum sab ne apney dard ko chodkey apne friend ke dard ke baarey mein socha. Ek doosrey ko support kartey kartey, now somehow we're all over it.

P - You're right. Agar uss waqt hum ek doosrey ka saath nahi dete toh sab ki haalat bohat buri hoti.

A - Friends hotey hi iss liye. Muskhil waqt main ek doosrey ke saath rehne ke liye. Jab tak hum sab saath hain, har problem ka solution saath mein dhoondlengey.

As Angela keeps her hand on Parth's shoulder, he smiles.

Episode 18 : Last chance

In Shreya's house, she was seen wearing Warrior High uniform and looking at herself in the mirror. She gently touches the logo in the uniform when Gautam enters. She looks at him and at the mirror,

Sh - Aaj Warrior High mein fresher's party ho rahi hogi..

G - Ya!

She smiles seeing herself wear the uniform and sadly takes the jacket of the uniform off.

G - Itna hi chahti ho toh join kyun nahi karleti.

Sh - Kissi cheez ko chahney mein aur karney mein bohat difference hai. Not all the things you wish happens.

G - But tumhare case mein tum khud usse door rakh rahi ho.

Sh - And you know why, Gee. Mamma doesnt want me to go. Aur main bhi unhe chodke nahi jaa sakti hoon. Agar mere jaaney ke baad phir se mamma ko kuch ho gaya toh?

G - Be positive Doll. Ab tum kissi aur ki khushi ke liye apni khushi ko sacrifice kar'ogi. Bohat selfless banne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.

Shreya smiles and sits on the chair near the dressing table,

Sh - Being selfless, can hurt you a lot. Par iss liye selfish nahi ho saktey na. Khudgarzi honey se jo kushi milta woh bohat din nahi tikta hai. Par ek bar selfless ho jaaye, baath hi alag hai. Hum achey hotey toh humarey saath bhi acha hi hota hai. Experience se bol rahi hoon. Waise bhi khud ke liye jeeney mein kya faida hai. It's for others one should live.

G (filmy) - Aapney mujhe prabuddh kiya hai Swaami Shreyanadha.

Shreya stares and smiles at Gautam who also laughs and sits on Shreya's bed,

G - Seriously Doll, (Mocking) Tum ho toh 16 ki, Par 60 ki budi jaise baat karti ho.

Sh - Isse maturity kehtey hain.

G (in a funny tone) - Meri maturity waali maa, Thoda logically socho! Poorey semester ki fees bharadiya. Ab kya? Refund bhi nahi milega.

Sh - Toh main kya karo'on? Tumhe kisney bola fees bharney ke liye.

G - Haan! Tum kaho'gi mujhe warrior high jaana hai, main tere liye admission le aaya. Maamu kahengey ja'o fees bhardo. Maine jaakey fees bardhiya. Aur ab mujhse pooch rahi hai ke kissney bola. Iske baad na main tumharey liye kuch nahi karney waala hoon.

Gautam gives a cute angry look. Shreya laughs and hugging him says,

Sh - A big big big thank you. Ok?

Gautam smiles but breaks the hug and on a serious note,

G - Dekho! Last chance hai. Main kal warrior high jaa raha hoon. Tum aa rahi ho ya nahi?

Sh - Nahi

G - Maami se ek baar jaakey baath toh karlo. Agar tum chahti ho toh main jaake...

Sh - No Gee. Don't

G (irritated) - Tu sunegi nahi?

Gautam gives an irritated look. He looks around, walks towards the door and locks the door while Shreya stared at him.

Next Day, In warrior high, a chemistry orientation session was going on. Deepa ma'am who was handling chemistry was telling the students about various things that would be dealt in the subject before choosing the stream.

DMaam - This session wasn't there before. But this year, we want to give students a proper platform to think about what they want. Tum log apney interest ke according choose kar sakte ho.

While this was going on, Megha was chewing a bubble gum and blowing small bubbles when Yakshit stares at.

Y (whispers) - Stop this Megha. Phas ja'ogi.

Me (whispers) - Iss se nahi phas'ongi. (scary) Par isse zaroor phas'oongi.

She chews the gum fast and blows a huge bubble. As the bubble grows bigger, Yakshit eyes widens in tension. *tap* the bubble breaks. Deepa ma'am stares at Megha.

DMaam (angry) - Kya kar rahi ho?

Me - Bubble gum ko wapas muh pe daal rahi hoon maam.

The students start laughing while Megha puts the gum in her mouth again.

DMaam - Yeh kya batameezi hai? Naam kya hai tumhara?

Me - Megha Das

DMaam (doubtful) - Girinath Das ki daughter.

Me (with attitude) - Yes.

There was a change in Deepa maam's look hearing Megha's Dad's name. She calms down and,

DMaam - Don't you know? Aise class mein chewing gum khana manners nahi hai.

Me (acting) - I know ma'am. But yeh toh orientation hai, class nahi. Wahan ke rules yahan bhi applied hain?

DMaam - Par aise chewing gum khaana allowed nahi hai.

Me (acting) - Sorry ma'am. Mujhe toh patha hi nahi tha. Warrior high na thoda ajeeb hai. Tradition ke naam se hide and seek kheltey hain. Filmy style ki fresher's party kartey hain. So confused ho gayi main.

DMaam - Ab confusion door ho gayi? Spit it out. Yahan nahi. Dustbin mein.

Megha walks to the dustbin and spits inside.

Niti is seen sitting near the tree along with a photo frame of her picture along with Utkarsh and Siyali. She remembers

[Flash back]

In the orphanage, Siyali stares at Utkarsh and Niti when they're seen along with the bottle which had Utkarsh's frog inside.

The trio are seen sitting in the terrace laughing and eating.

Niti and Utkarsh hug Siyali in the railway station.

During the Night call, the trio hug each other.

After the Earthquake,

U - Woh sab chodo. Yeh batha'o ke ladkey baazi kaisi chal rahi hai? Koi ladka mila ya phir tu ab tak kajal lagakey so thi hai?

After a fight with Siyali,

Si - Tum jaanti ho na? Main tumse zyaada der naraaz nahi reh sakti.

A - Ok. Group hug.

The three of them hug.

[Flash back ends]

Tears start flowing off her eyes. Utkarsh who was walking along with Sid sees this and,

U - Sid! Tum ja'o. Main baad mein aata hoon.

S - Ok.

Utkarsh walks towards Niti. She sees him and wipes her tears,

U - Phir se Siyali ki yaad aa gayi kya?

Ni - Phir se matlab? Usse kab bhula ke yaad karney ki zaroorat pad gayi?

U - It's true.

Ni - Mujhe patha hai ki main ek anaad hoon. Par jab se tum dono mere life mein aaye the, mujhe kabhi akelapan mehsoos karney nahi diya. Ab jo Siyali chali gayi, mujhe bohat akelapan mehsoos ho raha hai. Atleast tumhe toh ek pariwar bhi hai, par mera koi bhi nahi.

U - Niti? Please aise baat math karo. Main hoon na.

Ni - Nahi Utkarsh. Tum nahi ho. Jab se Sid terea bhai hua hai, tum sirf uske saath ho.

U - Tumhe lagta hai ke mujhe pariwaar milney se tumhe bhul jaa'onga? Niti tum ab bhi meri best friend ho.

Ni - Friend honey mein aur pariwar honey mein difference bohat hai.

U - Niti. Aisa please math socho. I'm sorry ke main tumharey saath nahi tha.

Ni - Utkarsh! Tumhe sorry bolney ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Mujhe patha hai ke tum iss liye Sid ke saath the kyun ki usse tumhari zaroorat hai. Main tumhe blame nahi kar rahi hoon, Utkarsh. Galti toh meri hai ke main aisi hoon. Iss liye toh mere papa ne mujhe chod diya. Galti toh meri hi hai na.

U - Niti, tum jaisi bhi ho, bohat achi ho. Bohat khoobsurat ho, dil aur dimaag se. Galti unki hai ke unhon ne tum jaise beti ko chod diya.

Ni (crying) - Main itni achi hoon toh mere maa baap kyun nahi hain. Tere jaise meri bhi maa mujhe kyun nahi mili?

As Niti cries, Utkarsh holds her by the shoulder and feels sad for his best friend. He felt helpless and so did Niti

Ni - kaash meri bhi koi family hoti.
