Parth gave it back to Vibha, just like she'd told him before to go to Kamini Maam as she'd be the correct one to talk to. Parth's words were very similar, with a deep hidden sense of humour masked by sheer anger on his face and cold demeanour. He told her it would be better if she spoke with Siyali as she was the Headgirl and he angrily walked off.
Vibha left staring at his disappearing shadow, and looked all glum. She thought in her head 'Ab main ise kaise manau, maine bahut badi galti kar di. Parth, I'm sorry, kaise kahu'. She followed him to his dorm room, and waited outside as he heard Utkarsh speak to him.
Utkarsh - Parth, bro, yeh kya tareeka hai Maam se baat karne ka?
Parth - Utkarsh tu mujhe akela chod de...
Utkarsh - Arey, woh Maam hai.
Parth - Tujhe kuch nahi pata hai, tu ja yaha se.
Utkarsh - Arey, aise kaise chala jau, bro hu main tera!
Parth opened his book and started reading. Utkarsh went close to him and closed his book.
Utkarsh - Dekh, jo bhi hua hai, tu ek baar jakar Maam se baat to kar le?
Parth - Nahi!
Utkarsh - Arey, woh kitni pareshaan lag rahi thi...
Parth wondered why Utkarsh was his friend but speaking in favour of Vibha Maam. He got up angrily and walked towards the door. He pushed the doors open with force, hurting Vibha's hand, and as she held her hand and blew on it, he walked out and looked at her with an angry face. He realized the doors had hurt her, but he didn't know that she'd be standing behind the doors. But Vibha stared at her hand and then looked up at Parth.
Parth - Sorry.
And after saying the one word very quickly, he left. Vibha just stood there.
Vibha - Parth!
But he didn't look back or turn around, while Vibha was left standing with her arm raised to stop him, which she slowly brought back down. 'Kitna naraz hai mujhse, sab meri galti hai, mujhe thappad marne ki kya zaroorat thi!' 'Bechara Parth' 'Lekin use bhi to samajhna chahiye tha' 'Agar kisine dekh liya hota to?' Vibha then paused her mind as she realized that she had a class to conduct.
And it so happened that it was Vibha's class was with the junior batch. She walked into the classroom, and saw Parth wasn't there. He eyes looked down at the table, as she picked up her book and asked the class to open their books to Chapter 9. Parth walked into the classroom, without asking her permission to enter. She saw him come in, and tried to say 'Pa...' but then stopped. She let him walk to his seat and watched him sit down while he looked away. He was still angry, and it was quite apparent. Once the lesson ended, and the bell rang, he was the first one to leave and yet again, Vibha tried to stop him but all that came out from her mouth was 'Pa...'.
Utkarsh was about to leave at the end and Vibha called him to speak to him.
Utkarsh - Yes Maam.
Vibha - Woh Parth...
Utkarsh - Yes Maam, Parth...
Vibha - Can you tell Parth I need to talk to him?
Utkarsh - Maam woh nahi ayega.
Vibha was a little bit surprised that Utkarsh didn't even say he would try to talk to Parth. But then again, he had heard him talk to Parth before, and the situation wasn't hopeful.
Vibha - Okay, you may leave.
Utakrsh - Okay, thank you Maam. Waise Maam, aap chinta mat kariye. Jab uska gussa thanda ho jayega, woh zaroor aapse milne ayega.
Utkarsh smiled and left. Vibha thought Utkarsh's words were true, but she had to pacify Parth as she had done a grave mistake by slapping him.
The day was about to come to an end. It was dinner time, but Parth was nowhere to be seen. Vibha didn't eat and wondered about Parth. She went to check in the library, but he wasn't there. She was about to walk towards the dorm, but she saw other guys approaching, so she left and didn't come back. As the lights went off, Vibha went to the girls dorm, for her usual round and told Karthik Sir that she would check the boys dorm too. She wanted to see Parth, even if for a second. But as she opened the doors to the boys room and walked in, she saw everyone in their beds, except for Parth. She got worried, and headed to the one place she thought he would be.
She quietly entered the library and saw Parth reading a book, or at least trying to stare at one. He didn't hear her come in as his heart and mind were still filled with anger. His restlessness had caused him to come to the library and find peace by reading books, but clearly that wasn't helping him tonight. He wanted to talk to Vibha, but every time he felt like going to her, he felt the slap on his face all over again and scrapped the idea. She walked close to him and spoke in a low voice.
Vibha - Parth?
Parth looked up at her, and just as he thought he was happy to see her there, he held his cheek as he remembered the slap. He angrily got up, but Vibha blocked his way. She was emotional.
Vihba - Parth, meri baat to suno... I'm sorry...
And just as Parth heard her say sorry, he held her arm and twisted it behind her and pushed her against the bookshelf, while still holding on to her arm. As he felt his arm bang against the shelf, and twisted her arm even more, she looked at him with eyes wide open, as water started to slowly cloud her vision. He looked into her eyes and his red hot anger slowly turned into sadness as he realized he was hurting her. He let go of her hand and looked at the floor.
Parth - Sorry.
And he then started to walk away but Vibha held his hand and stopped him.
Vibha - Nahi Parth, I'm sorry.
Parth just stood there, while Vibha held on to his hand.
Vibha - Tum mujhse itna naraz ho ki mere aur bhi nahi dekh sakte?
Parth heard the sadness of her tone and turned around.
Vibha - Parth, mujhse galti ho gayi...
Tears started to roll down her eyes and he couldn't stop himself from holding her face and nodding to signal her to not cry. He gently wiped away her tears and she hugged him.
Vibha - I love you Parth!
She had said it, and that's what he had wanted to hear before. He smiled bleakly and wrapped his arms around her to hug her back. She heaved a sigh of relief as she felt his arms around her waist. And then slowly, she pulled away from him.
Vibha - Parth, tumne dinner kyu nahi kiya?
Parth - Mujhe bhukh nahi thi... Apne khaya?
Vibha - Nahi...
Parth - Par Maam aapne bhi...
Vibha - Mujhe bhi bhukh nahi thi.
Parth - Maam yeh kya bachpana hai?
Vibha - Bachpana nahi hai, yehi pyar hai!
Parth looked at her and smiled as she gave her a beautiful smile. She wanted to see him smile as she never wanted to be the reason for his sadness. And he too wanted to see her happy, always.
Vibha - To chalein?
Parth - Kaha?
Vibha - Sh, bas chalo.
Vibha held his hand and took him, slowly and stealthily to her room.
Parth - Maam, yeh aapka kamra hai?
Parth was starting to speak as he entered her room.
Vibha - Sh Parth, dheere, koi aa jayega.
She signalled him to sit on her bed and brought a plate of food. She put it on the bed and sat next to him. He was just looking at her, as she prepared a bite and brought it close to her mouth.
Vibha - Lo...
Parth slowly opened his mouth and before he could chew, he prepared a bite for her and fed her. She smiled as she liked this side of him, it was gentle, soothing and caring. And as they finished eating dinner from the same plate, Parth looked at Vibha and started to speak.
Parth - Mujhe jana chahiye, bahut der ho gayi hai.
Vibha - Hmm.
Parth got up and took a few steps towards the door, but then turned around, and looked at Vibha. She got up and walked towards him as he turned around.
Parth - Thank you!
She smiled and he gently ran his fingers on her cheek and she held his hand and kissed it. Parth smiled and looked the walls, and then again looked back at her. She was smiling at him.
Parth - Good night.
Vibha - Good night Parth.
Both went to sleep with big smiles on their faces and dreamt sweet dreams about one another.
