Anyway, I genuinely feel bad for Siyali. She was the one who truly dreamed of Warrior High..it sucks that she gave it up for...Utkarsh! He's seriously my least favorite character right now. Nothing wrong against guys who cry easily but this guy is just so...idk, he's more of a sidelines kind of a guy. Or maybe I am just too conflicted about him. On one hand I like how he knows his strengths and limits, that some people are just not cut out for bigger and greater things. He wants to stick to the basics that he knows, living an ordinary life because that's the only life he is comfortable in. It's not like he had tried to drag Siyali into it as well despite confessing it again and again that he can't live without her. He wants her to go ahead and do great in life. But then again, the fact that right now his character is the only one who seems so conveniently placed in Warrior High, it kind of makes me tick. I hope he has some great passion or talent and Warrior High does bring out the Warrior in him because the way I see it, this guy needs crutches to walk and Warrior High is a place which shows no mercy to weaklings.
Parth's scenes with his mother make my heart melt. They have such a lovely mother-son relationship. He's a guy who is always two step away from bursting in anger but he's such a child in front of his mother. There's some beauty in seeing a 6 feet kinda guy leaning down to hug his mother, trying to hide himself away in those arms.
(No Parth and Vibha please T_T)
Got some interesting dynamics of Warrior High at the station itself. There's definitely a hierarchy there, even amongst the non-scholarship students. The cool gang who rule the school, the minions, the people who are getting ruled over, and definitely the scholarship students who are always gonna be an easy target for them.
This bimbo/vamp/queen bee...😆 Typical hot boy chaser laging. And the hot boy being all controlled by his hormones xD The scene in the car was nicely shot. Sid is defo a womanizer, as had been hinted in the promo itself. But wasn't that lady older than him? Chalo..ye bhi sahi hai. Queen Bee said that Sid likes perfection, at least in the matter of girls. Question remains what's gonna be the perfect one for him?
The guy who picked Niti up...I be looking forward to him. He just picked her up and screamed while running towards the train. Oh and the khamakha ka DDLJ scene between Utkarsh and Queen Bee. Utkarsh's expressions were hilarious like, "What the hell woman?! Who are you?!" 🤣 Niti is confident enough to say that it's nearly impossible to make her cry but it's only natural for her to have an inferiority complex when it comes to her height. It could be seen that she wasn't comfortable with being picked up like a toddler like that. Promo shows Sid treating her like the same. She is a girl, probably 16 or 17, right? Just because her outwards appearance resembles that of a primary schooler, doesn't mean that's what her nature is. She likes the things girls like, she wants the things girls want, she wishes to be treated with love and respect and adoration not based on how she looks but on what she is. The orphanage was a different world. There she had her own position intact, with the fellow kids and the teachers/supervisors. Those people knew better than to treat her bad just based on her dwarf body. But Warrior High? That place reeks of superficiality, despite the emphasis on "talent" and "merit". C'mon, it ain't an ideal place. Put in so many people who come from all kinds of troubled, normal, broken, perfect backgrounds and that place is bound to be a battlefield everyday, phir bhale name Warrior High ho ya nahin.
P.S - The BEST shot in the entire episode was the trio hug. I loved the way Utkarsh leaned down and hid his face on Siyali's shoulder while she clutched his arm which was around her and Niti hugging her from the other side as Siyali cradled her head. These three are so strong, like a one unit. Of course it kills them to be apart from each other. Siyali's intentions were noble and she was putting a brave front for them but the scene in the bathroom was evident that she will die every day that she won't spend with them.
