I had some free time and Sony came along with Waqt Batayeega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya, so I took it up. Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai ended rather abruptly. That was sad. We were almost a year old when we were asked to wrap up. A lot depends on the marketing and creative effort too. Some shows come and go, while others stay on for even seven years. Your character in Waqt.. is a tapori, right? Yup, he's like Aamir Khan in Rangeela. It's a funny track. Did you street talk to practise for the role? I hardly had the time. As a team we worked on the costumes and look. Joy likes to wear loud shirts and a gold chain.. (laughs) they make him feel stylish. How is the reptilian soap, Naaginn.. Waadon ki Agnipariksha going? My character has shaped up well. It's hardly acting.. it's very realistic. Really? Of course. Once, I had a live snake all over me. I literally froze to death. That was a real shot! Isn't it hectic dealing with a daily and a weekender? I have certain days blocked for each of them. I'm good at time management. Do TRPs affect you? They do but not too much. When I entered Sindoor.. Tere Naam ka, I was warned not to because its ratings weren't so high. Television is very volatile. It's like a stock market.. you never know when which stock will rise. But if I only think of TRPs, I won't be able to work. What's up on the personal front? I've just moved house. So, before I leave for my shoot, I unpack cartons.. when I get home from my shoot, I'm unpacking cartons again. It's all very hectic.
