How can that be. 😆😆 Thats maybe the first blunder by the creatives.

Anyone who has studied till class five can easily read. Why are they projecting him as an illiterate guy then? In India courses of class five are quite high standard and anyone who has studied till there should be able to read and write.

Please Waaris creatives don't come out with such illogical logics. 😆 Please do your home work properly. I know they visit IF 😉 and even this section so hope this will pass them the message and we get to see some rectification soon on this matter. 😆

😆 OMG Is that true! Is Shankar really anpadh ganwar? 😉😆😆
Yeah, I agree with u, Bhai.
A 5th grader can read and write and has all the basics of education needed for functioning in real world.
Kya Aap paanchvi pass se tez hain? I guess the Creatives of Waaris havent watched that show yet? Where the most difficult questions are asked supposedly of 5th grade standard. 😆😆
And why the hell did his father not send him to school or continue his education?😕
Now Im sure Shankar isnt RPS' own son......hes adopted.😉
And RPS didnt care abt him, so he sent him to be trained as a gunda. 😆

It shows a BIG discrepancy yes ..

I was really bugged by that 'sonography' pronounciation .. even a cabby can pronounce it right!

maybe the book was in english n shankar studied in hindi meduim. thts the only logic the king cud think off. if the book was in hindi thn its a blunder. the std of class five is high 2day but not 25 yrs back.

Gosh even I was confused with that line, I think kings explanation makes sense. I've some of my own explanations but they're a bit weird, so to speak...Maybe the Guru didn't teach him how to read and write, but how to speak and understand things, perhaps his purpose was more to impart the basic knowledge than make him read and write...
Also as king said, I think 25 yrs ago, Class 5's standards aren't as high as now...
Also, I don't think Shankar was actually tutored in school.. as they mentioned that only the Guru taught him.. perhaps.. the Guru decided to teach Shankar in his own style, and his own method, doing away with the conventional way thats taught in schools... I mean in a school, u know that when a child passes 5th grade, he's pretty much well-read and very literate... but maybe the guru's system was a bit different, it had its own set of rules...

well i was rather buffled but could it be he can only read hindi not english, cause masterji looked more like a hindi teacher than an english?

and it is coming across as if he was home schooled perhaps?
