Simmi could marry him too. She doesn't seem to deserve anyone better.

What will happen is Chander might try to harm Preet. Amba will realize what a ba****d he is. She will run her dutiful son in law Raj. Beg him to save her daughter just like she begged Rohan to run away with Simmi. And when Raj would heroically save Preet, she, as in Amba will go back to being a b***h. And will go back to cursing the Bajwas.

OMG!!!!! I'm laughing so hard... Just imagine Preet calling Chander 'papaji'... I wonder what his expression will be... I can totally see Simran calling him that in her whiny self, cursing and complaining about Bajwas... Simran marrying Chander would be unfair to Rohan. Though he deserves better it will be hard on him seeing the one he loves married to a pervert... When you love someone deeply, no matter how much they inflict pain upon you you just can't hurt them..

But Megha is only saying you wouldn't hurt them back even if they do.
I don't see anything wrong in that.
I wouldn't take abusive behaviour, but I wouldn't stoop to their level either. I would simply walk away.
