You've got it all wrong. The show was great before the leap. If you'd started watching after the leap, like PemaKarpo, you would've hated it like we all do. The abuse Raj put Preet through after the leap was horrendous. You're lucky you started watching the show after Raj stopped being abusive towards Preet.

You see I,most unfortunately watched a couple of post leap episodes and then went on to watch the pre leap episodes. I thought maybe for once they are having sensible childhood friends track and so I wanted to know all about the friendship that Raj and Mannu had when they were kids. So I kind of suffered along with them. But not as much as Delia suffered as she saw the story progressing since pre leap to what it is now.

Similarly, binge watching all the episodes, knowing that Raj will eventually turn good is one thing. And watching your favourite character transform into a horrendous beast and waiting for him to turn human again is another one all together. We had really long and earnest discussions regarding this topic back then.

Now that the character is finally positive again, everything is spoilt. I, at least cannot go to loving Raj and Preet's friendship and love like I used to.

Ash, you pretty much said what I wanted to say. A new viewer will never understand a serial/characters like an older viewer does, especially one who's been watching from the beginning.
