Chapter 3
At the venue:-
Sukhi was talking with Aman friends sukhi tried to get mannu to join the conversation, but Mannu's mind was elsewhere . Mannu was still anxious as weather preet managed to convince gunjan to do the roka or not? The roka was about to start; he was well aware of that, and he still didn't know weather preet came with Gunjan to the venue or not . Gunjan wasn't picking up his call and preet didn't had a cellphone. By passing second mannu was getting more and more apprehensive. If Preet was unable to convince gunjan, then he had to hatch a plan to distract the pahujas, or--
"Mannu Shah ji! " Mannu came out of his thought when *preet called out to him. Preet jogged towards mannu. "Mannu Shah ji, Sukhi veerji come to the mandap the roka is about to start. Come quick!" Preet said while trying to catch her breath
"O teri! Papa ji will be mad at me." Sukhi said and with that hurriedly ran off towards mandap with Aman friends. While mannu stood there,a look of worry spread on his face. "Preet, what about gunjan did she--"
"Don't worry shah ji. Gunjan didi is here for the roka, thought she is a bit fretful." Preet *said to mannu. Mannu finally relaxed and bit.
"Thank you,Preet "
"Your welcome, shah ji, now let's hurry up." Both mannu and preet hurried, towards the mandap
With Preet :-
Both mannu and preet reached the mandap in time. The mandap was located in a much quiter side of the ground ,away from the commotion of holi.All the Guests; including the bajwas, were present there standing around the mandap Mannu went in the mandap and stood beside ravi and deena while Preet went to her aunt and cousin Neha pava who were standing with other guest.
"Where were you two? What took you so long ? Mom was getting worried for you. " Neha asked
"I'll tell you later " saying that , Preet turned her attention to the mandap
By now Amba was greeting all the guest. Preet father Maan singh and her uncle Balvinder Pava were standing with Jagan and his men along with her other cousin's Lakhan and Tej Pava, in the mandap . All of them alert and attentive , except for Lakhan who eyes kept wandering around the crowd as if looking for someone,
In Preet family Lakhan and Neha were the only one who always supported preet unlike her other members who were really strict, especially her father. Preet's father was really strict, ever since Preet's mother died. It was not like he didn't liked her infact he loved his daughter a lot, but ever since Preet's mother got killed by the bajwas, Maan Singh has been really overprotective of his daughter. Preet aunt Swaran; though loving was a very traditional lady , so she was quite strict with her kids when it comes to discipline and tradition. Tej was like his mother but Lakhan was different . Reckless, carefree Lakhan was complete opposite of his brother and thus was always a misunderstood teen . His interest in music, disappointment his parents who wanted him to follow his father's footsteps - to be a wrestler - but Lakhan was not interested in that.
Lakhan finally relaxed when his eyes settle on Preet. Preet smiled at her brother, who shot a grin at her. The roka ritual started, the pandit asked Mannu to give Aman the sword as per the ritual . Preet noticed the wedding planner Rajveer Singh standing beside the couple and awfully close to gunjan. " What is he doing there?" Preet though out loud
"Who? " Neha asked
"That guy , the wedding planner"
" Must be there cause of work, I mean to say he is the planner so he must look out that things-the wedding and other rituals - goes out smoothly "
" Ok but why is standing so close by the couple especially the bride-"
"Come on Preet it's his work. "
Amba told Aman to give the coconut to gunjan and complete the roka. Aman gave the coconut to gunjan but it slipped from her hand. Rajveer caught it before it hit the ground .
"Oh teri! Bach gaya nahi toh kalesh ho jata " Rajveer exclaimed , and placed the coconut in gunjan hand. Everyone was shocked by this action. Mr pahuja seemed really angry, and Amba looked like she was at her wits end. Amba scolded raj for this action.

I'm sorry for the late update. I had saved my chapter in my cellphone and it all got deleted and I had to again write the chapter.I'm really sorry for all the grammatical errors😭. Sorry for the crappy story and the characters 😭
