I can remember the one where he laments that Manu didn't recognise him. But still, I think it was all a ploy to trick us so that we would be shocked when he betrayed her. Indeed, most of us were hella shocked.

I can't watch old episodes because I live in the UK. They aren't available to me.

I watched them all a few days back. As the present track is fresh in my mind, I could instantly notice the inconsistency. It is severe.
It is simple. It's due lack of planning. They obviously dint know how they would be taking the story further when Raj had just entered or even after he had discovered Preet.

It was either planned to be a shock twist or CVs made it up as they went along. They certainly did keep the possibility open by making child Raj say 'if anything happens to my brother, I'll never forgive you'. Before the leap, I was expecting something very different.

Personally, I think it was all planned; the show was pretty fast paced up until the point where RajPreet got married. The reason for the speed was because the prewedding stuff was a set up for the real story which is all of this crap.

The shock theory would make sense if it weren't mental monologues.
I would call it inconsistency.
They definitely had a revenge track / MU track in store. That was evident, but Raj ditching Preet altogether and behaving as if he married her only for revenge and his intentions about Gunjan and his present feelings of hatred towards her is all later developments only to help improve TRPs.
Till their wedding, pretty much everything made sense. But after that, it is utter gibberish. They are still stuck in the same place because they don't know how to take things further.
In my opinion, it was not properly thought out. It comes across as a TRP gimmick.

I thought it was like that too until I thought back to Raj catching the coconut and putting it in 'Gunjan's' hands during her Rokka ceremony. That seems to fit with his plan of seducing her.

Maybe what happened after the betrayal wasn't planned but the betrayal itself definitely was. Or CVs knew something big was gonna happen during RajPreet's wedding but they didn't know exactly what. My point is that there has to be a reason for Raj and Preet falling in love so quickly, the truth about her being revealed so quickly e.t.c.

I too felt manu's secret was revealed to raj too soon. Maybe it was getting increasingly difficult for Preet to stay hidden. Specially after she fell head over heels in lust with raj. Besides I guess The CVs thought revealing Manu's reality would bring a strong unexpected twist to the storyline.

Not because he was lustig after Gunjan!
All of us expected something big to happen at their wedding, what happend was big alright, but STUPID!

How do you know that coconut thing wasn't his plan? I'm just saying there's a 50% chance that it was. By the way, I never said that he put the coconut into Preet's hand because he lusted after Gunjan. The only person he's lusted after is Preet.

The whole story is far fetched...

Now I am sure in order to redeem Raj the cvs will show that he takes a bullet for Preet... Then Preet will forgive Raj and then Delia's favorite track will start. Raj will want protect his SD and Preet will try to bring out her truth. Then it will be revealed that the child was Nihal's or fake and Raj will finally know about SD's truth. It will not take him even 2 seconds to hate SD. But by that time SD will either kidnap Simmi and/or marry Nihal and the whole property will be n her name. The Bajwas will be forced to leave the Haveli. She will blackmail Preet to leave Raj and save her sister or save Raj's izzat and his property. Preet will leave BH and the whole misunderstanding thing will start again...

I hope this doesn't happen... I hope they come up will something unique...but..
