Exactly what I thought. But right now I think Rohan is a bit gray character. I don't trust cvs or the any character in the serial after how raj cheated preet 😆

Guys been long that I saw the show. So could someone please remind who Rohan was? Plus did they change the actress who played Simran? Isn't she the elder sister of Preet?

Rohan is Raj's second brother, Raman (dead) being the oldest.

No the actress who plays Simran has not been changed and it is seriously messed up as without any specific make up she looks younger than all the three of them ie Raj , Preet and Rohan whereas she is older than all three of them...

They look good together but isn't simran much much older than rohan? then how their pairing is possible? i though it will be gunjan who will pair with rohan assuming her husband will get killed somehow then this will happen but she seems totally banished from the show after her marriage & now comes simran all of a sudden in the scenario! i have to say everything is so weird about this that it's making me disinterest towards the show, i have skipped almost all of the episode after raj's gf's entry & i wonder if it will be watchable for me again or not. o_0

Simran is a few years older than Rohan. I don't get why people have such a huge issue with a woman being older than her husband. The practice of marrying/impregnating one's bhabhi after the passing of one's brother has been around since ancient times. I'm sure most bhabhis are older than their devars. A few years is nothing, and I don't find it weird. At least it's something different.

As for Gunjan, I think they axed her to bring in Simran since they couldn't be bothered to show a third family in this equation. This is an Indian serial so FL's sisters are only shown when they happen to be in the same sasural as FL. I also thought it would be Gunjan/Rohan but that's too predictable. I'm not a great fan of two sisters in the same sasural but I definitely prefer RoSim over Gunjan/Rohan and Preet/Rohan.

Simran should be in her late 20s and Rohan in mid 20s. There are many females who look much younger than their age even after having two kids. It is perfectly ok for a girl being older than her bf/husband by few years. Like queen stated this kind of situation is quiet ok when devar marries his dead brother's widow.

In fact I was wondering how come the idea of Jagan marrying amba didn't arise as they are sowing a kind of traditional background in rural Punjab where such alliances used to happen.

I was thinking that Rohan would be about 22/23 whereas Simran would be around 25/26. That's fine, it's just a 3/4 year age gap. My nani was like 8 years older than my nana and no one batted an eyelid. Also got an uncle whose ex wife was 8 - 10 years older than him. RoSim age gap is nothing compared to that. Age doesn't even matter much in Waaris anyway since the CVs keep changing the birth orders around.

I guess Jagan/Amba didn't come up because Jagan was already married and was having affairs all over the place. On a side note, apparently Jagan was a child when Amba married Charan. I thought their age gap was that of a few years. 😕

Amba was 15??? What? But when her memory regressed, she thought that she was 18 and said that she wasn't even married yet. CVs forgetting things again or realising that it's illegal for females under 18 to get married?
