Yes, that's exactly it. All they showed was a recap of the drama from DRS's murder, upto the point where Vikram proposes to Vasudha.😕 Maybe Smriti was too busy with the launch of her new serial to shoot for Virrudh.

You have to think of Diwali holidays for whole unit of Virudh too. So that's why they decided to do the re-cap episode. I do not see anything wrong in it.
