Aashka's Direction!!

Aashka Goradia, who became famous as Kumud of ' Kkusum' television serial has immense interest in direction and is currently assisting Santaram Verma, the director of Smriti Irani's production ' Virrudh'. Aashka is also essaying the character of Sanjit Bedi's love interest in this show and despite of her busy acting schedule, manages some time to pursue her passion, which is direction. In future, Aashka is not averse to taking direction as the full time occupation, but before that wants to learn the nuances of this craft from master directors like Santaram.

As Aashka says, ' Yes, this is something that I have wanted to do for a long time now. It is a fantastic experience although I have just begun. Santaram is great guy, very helpful and very chilled out. Yesterday was just my first day and I hope to get better. It will help me, as an actor to perform and understand things better from a director's point of view.'

Smriti Irani too is very pleased with the young Aashka for taking interest in direction and promises to help her in whatever way she can.
