Update 26th April 2007

Vedika comes home drunk, she opens the door.. Vasu is asleep on the floor.. Vedika thinks about what uttara said.. Vedika slowly comes and puts a present there.. Vasu gets up.. And sees it.. She says - hmm, my gift.. Sorry I went to sleep.. Vedika pours some alcohol in a glass.. Vasu opens the gift and says that she liked it a lot.. It had SV on it… vasu turns back and sees vedika drinking, she asks her why is she drinking? She drinks when is she sad and angry so why today.. She adds that she had a wiered engagement, maaji left, then her and then Shushant… Shushant left as he some issue with his mom.. She adds that she too misses her mom.. They 4 have gorwn up together, helping each other since childhood… sometimes she wshes her mom was with them…. Vedika creams - so what? Whats the difference? Is she her mother then why should she hear all this.. Vasu gets scared and says that she got dinner for vedika.. Vedika eats it.. Vasu gets up and leaves.. Vedika breaks down and says that she too lost control today… such a big secret is in her heart, and how can vasu know that her temple like house will break..

Uttara comes home late at night.. Shushant says that normally a son comes late, but today a son has to question his mom that why is she late? Uttara asks him to mind his own business.. Shushant says that not when she is lieng to her son.. He asks her who is shahlini? He shows her the file.. Uttara asks him where did this come from? Shushant says that that doesn't matter, he needs to know… she skipped the engagement, lied about the broker, etc.. uttara warns him that she will go back to kanpur.. Shushant feels sad and says that she can leave her son, but cant talk about shahlini… he leaves in anger… uttara thinks that if he wants vasu to be happy, then he will have to accept this pain…

The next day.. Vedika goes to vasu who is cooking.. Vedika feels guilty and asks her if she can help.. Vasu asks her if she is ok.. She wants to cook? And smiles… vedika apologizes for calling her illegimate and stuff before.. Vasu says that its ok.. She has never asked her to say sorry.. Vedika adds that she is sorry about yelling yesterday… vasu says that she doesn't miss her mom, as dad loves her so much, but yesterday she missed her mother a lot… but may be this is like betraying dad.. Vedika spills out - your mom is alive stupid.. Vasu says huh? Vedika says that uh… Shushant's mom is like her mom.. Vasu says - oh yes… she says that she needs to go.. Vedika is just about to walk out.. She sees Shushant and says that oh good timming, vasu's father isn't here and he is here to see vasu.. Shushant says that he is here to see her.. As he wants to know about shahlini malotra.. Vedika says that she doesn't know about her… Shushant says that she had shahlini's file.. Vedika hesitates, and blabbers that she was at the hospital,e tc etc.. and she got some file.. She adds that she is speaking the truth.. Shushant says that why did she confirm the She isn't lieing.. He leaves and looks back and says that he will get the truth out of her soon…

Uttara combs shahlini's hair and syas that her daughter has grown up and looks very beautiful and has good qualities despite living in that house… she gives her vasu's photo from the engagement.. And adds that she did a mistake of leaving vasu at the orphanage, and she wants to rectify that now… shahlini has tears in her eyes seeing vasu's pic.. Just then vedika calls her and tells her about Shushant and asks her to call shahlini's hospital and to ask them to not reveal anything about her, uttara asks her to be careful.. Just hten vasu comes towards vedika, vedika changes the topic and shuts the phone… vasu asks her if Shushant was here.. Vedika says - yes, but he was tensed so he left.. Vedika leaves.. Vasu wonders that why didn't Shushant meet her and go???

Vasu goes to Shushant with tiffin… Shushant yells on the phone saying what kind of hospital is this? They cant give one simple information… he hangs up… vasu comes there with food.. She asks Shushant why is he upset? Shushant says that its nothing… vasu says that men lie after marriage, but he has started from the enagement… Shushant looks at the food and says that wow, she has got food for her at office… vasu taunts him that he came home and couldn't meet her, so she did that… Shushant feels bad… vasu asks him if everything is ok… Shushant says that he cant tell her about this… vasu feels bad…

Its 12:30 at night.. A guy comes and asks Shushant if he doesn't want to go home.. Shushant walks out and over hears Sinha and Rai talking.. They both taunt each other about the file… Shushant opsn the door a little.. Sinha laughs and says that he has gotten a bit scared after uttara came back…

Preview: vedika hurts her leg… Rai holds her hand saying that she is hurt, and she cant walk.. Vedika backs off asking him to not touch her.. Vasu and vedant come there…
