Meera in her room Priyanka and Juhi come to see her, they both are joking and in a light mood. Meera gives Priyanka a gift for the Karwa Chauth and also hands over another packet to be given to Anoushka. Juhi asks what is Kurwa Chauth. Meera narrates the story behind it. She says that there was a girl who had 7 brothers. After the girl got married she kept a fast on the day of Karwa Chauth. The brothers were worried about their sister fasting and did not want her to wait till late, so they created a fake Chandni and she broke her fast. Right at that time they got a call from her susral that her husband is no more. The girl cried and prayed for her husband. Hearing her plea someone (could not get the name) told the girl to keep the fast every month on this day till the next Karwa Chauth, which she did and prayed for her husband, and she got her husband back. Meera tell them that women observe Karwa Chauth for the health and long life of the husband.
Juhi asks Meera if she believes in Karwa Chauth, and Meera says yes she does. Priyanka tells her that the relationship between the husband and wife is the longest. Juhi asks if unmarried girls can also fast, Priyanka teases her as for whom does she want to fast and Juhi just says for my knight in shining armor who has not yet come, so that he should come.
They all put Mehndi. Meera tells Priyanka to have tea and water as this is her first Karwa Chauth, but Priya says she will not have anything. Priyanka asks Meera not to be naraz with Dad on the day of Karwa Chauth. Raman walks in and Juhi teases Meera that her Chaand has come, Priyanka and Juhi both laugh and leave, while Raman enters.
Raman asks Meera why these 2 were laughing. Meera tells him that when somebody laughs you don't ask the reason for it, people usually ask for a reason when someone cries. Raman tells her not to start teaching him things again.
Rishab is in his room, reading, Priyanka and Juhi knock, he opens the door and is surprised to see them there that late. They say that tomorrow is Karwa Chauth and they are here for Anoushka with the Mehndi and gift Meera sent her. He tells them that he does not know anything about Karwa Chauth and Anoushka is sleeping and she has been living in this house like a guest. They tell him that they would like to put Mehndi on Anoushka's hand, and for his wife he would not mind staying up a little late for 1 day, Juhi adds only if he loves his wife. Rishab leaves the room, Anoushka is sleeping. Priyanka and Juhi put Mehndi on Anous hand while she is sleeping.
Rahul is starring out the window and remembers Rishab's words that the problem with your bhabi is that she wishes that the next kid in the family is her's. Priyanka comes into the room and teases Rahul and they share light romantic moments together.
Its early morning, Priyanka and Rahul sleeping, Priya gets up, touches Rahul's feet and wishes him Happy Karwa Chauth, she hears the bells of the mandir and thinks Meera is already there, gets dressed soon and goes to the mandir, wearing a red sari which Meera had given her. Priyanka takes ashirwad from Meera and Meera ties a thread on Priya's wrist.
Rahul gets up, looks at the moon and says not to trouble Priya today, go soon and come back soon as its Piya's first Karwa Chauth and so is it his. Meera and Priyanka sit to eat when Rahul joins them and happily they sit eating together. Meera tells Rahul to take care of Priyanka and leaves from the mandir. Rahul hugs Priyanka and tells her that this is cause Mom told me to take care of you.
Rishab is leaving for the office when Priyanka comes in to see Anoushka, she asks Rishab that even today he is going to the office, and he retorts back that he is not one of those husbands who like sitting in the lap of their wives and he leaves. Anoushka tells Priya that it is better not to expect anything from Rishab and she is just tired. Priyanka continues that you are tired of running in the race that jethji has pushed you into of giving the Lamba Parivar their first heir. Anouskha tells her that she has put herself into this race herself, Priyanka tells her that she will loose this race as, she and Rahul have no intention of having a kid this soon. Anoushka is really happy to hear this. Priyanka gets a call from Rahul. Rahul is really happy, he tells her he is at the doctors office to collect her reports and tells her that her reports show that she is pregnant. Priyanka is really surprised.
