Written Update - Aug 9, 2006

Rishab is still being questioned by the officers, they tell him that KB's statement shows that you 2 know each other, Rishab says it not a statement, but a recording. Then Rishab asks the officer if know Ashwariya Rai, the officer says yes, then he asks him does Ash know you, the officer says no. The officer then tells him that he got his point and understood what he is trying to prove.

Kunal is in another room with some other officers and they ask him from where he got the tapes. Kunal tells him that no one discloses their sources, but the main point is that it shows he was setup, it was a sazish against him. The officer tells him that we need proof that there is a connection between KB and Rishab, without which it would be difficult to pin anything on Rishab. Kunal tells them he will try to get something.

Gargi and Priyanka are talking on the phone. Gargi tells Priya that she is happy as distances btw you and Kunal are reducing, she tells Priya she is worried about her being there in the Lamba household and going against Rishab.

Kunal comes home, calls Tanya who is at the office. He thanks her for her help and tells her he needs some proof that connects KB and Rishab together. She tells him that there should be something she will try and find it. Kunal asks Gargi if he should trust Tanya. Gargi tells him that Tanya does not do "Jal Kapat" she is clean hearted, either she knows how to love or how to hate, and now what she is doing is out of hatred for Rishab. Kunal says that Tanyas hatred put together with our hatred for Rishab is going to cost him a lot.

At the Lamba house Raman, Meera, Anou, Rahul and at the Kharbanda house Kunal, Gargi and Kailash are also hearing the news on TV, and the coverage is on Rishab and his arrest.

Raman says that Rishab is always alone in his fight even though he has a family no one supports him, Meera tells him those who take the family with them get the family support, but Rishab always sided with you and never needed the family.

Priya comes and informs the family that the dinner is served. Anou gets very angry on her, tells her that Rishab is under arrest and you think about eating, you go eat and don't forget to have sweets afterwards (mou meetha bhi kar lena). Rahul speaks on Priya behalf, Anou gets angry on him as well, and tells him that Rishab is under arrest because of your wife. Rahul tells her that in times of crisis the family should keep together and take care of each other, Anou tells him to just take care of his wife. Rahul pacifies her and takes her upstairs to her room.

Raman tells Meera that now the Kharbanda and Lamba enmity has come within their home, one room is fighting with another room, he tells Meera we have to get rid of some rooms from our house to keep the peace (hamein apney ghar say kuch kamrey mitaney hongey). Meera tells him that why everyone blames Priya, and getting rid of is easy, she tells him that he did not accept the eldest bahu of this house and lost them as well. Raman tells Meera it about time he reminds people Rishabs full name, which is Rishab Lamba, and places a call to the Chief Minister.

Rishab is still being questioned, he tells the officer that he never sat that late even in his office, gets up and starts walking out, officer stops him, just then Rishabs phone rings, he hands it to the officers, it's the commissioner on line and tells the officers to let Rishab go. Rishab leaves before the officer even completes his conversation. (leaving his phone behind with the officer).

Rishab is walking in the corridor, the officer are taking KB to another room, Rishab and KB cross, look at each other, Rishab smiles and both go in their respective direction..

Tanya is in the office searching for files, and the info Kunal requested, she finds the files and calls Kunal to inform him that she has the proof he wanted. She tells him she respects him a lot as he did not mention her name, she is still talking to Kunal, there is a noise, she turns around. Rishab is standing there.

Rishab asks her what she is doing in the office so late, she tells him she is taking care of some filing, he asks her that besides him who is this man she was praising, she tells him it was an old friend. Rishab asks her how did Kunal get those tapes and if she had the originals with her, she walks to the cupboard and brings the tapes, he asks if there is anyone in the office that is taking their salary from Kunal as well. He brutally catches her faces in his hands and asks her that if that person is you, Tanya does show some signs of fear, but then Rishab laughs and says no it cant be you. He tells her why are u sitting in the dark lets have some light. He goes to the files she had taken out, takes out his lighter and burns those files one by one. Tanya just stares, the episode ends on Rishabs face.
