There was another movie, starring Sanjay Dutt maybe. Gulshan Grover was the main antagonist who was playing a sex-addict. The moment he used to see a girl all he wanted was to have sex. Which is okay! That's the character. But the method he used for this was unbelievable.

He used to put Sindoor in every girl's maang(including his domestic help) & tell them that they were his wife ,so let's go to bed. & All the women accepted it & gave in apart from the heroine may be.

This way of portraying woman as idiots, & helpless was soo regressive that it boiled my blood.

Heroine loved the hero but he loved someone else so she never expressed her feelings

Meanwhile that girl gets married to someone else and heroine knew about it(but couldn't stop) hero was heartbroken.

Meanwhile heroine's marriage got fixed with someone, hero forgetting his gloom starts helping her family with preparations(he was rich and heroine was poor)

Just on the day of marriage he gets to know that heroine loved him, so he takes that she deliberately didn't stop his gfs marriage, gets angry, enters marriage arena and puts sindoor in her hairline saying tum yahi chahti thi na ab lo. Main tumhe nhi apnaunga aur ye bhi tumse shaadi nhi karega the groom also leaves...

Btw Pete you watch kabaddi or know about it? It is said to be originated in TN. League starting 2 Dec. TN also has a team called Tamil Thalaivas.
