Yes they brought her back in 2019 I think

Abhijit Tarika were kind of couple when the show ended. No formal proposal or acceptance not sure what to call of it.

But makers seriously destroyed Daya Shreya

Abhijeet Tarika's relationship never matured from superficial flirting...only difference was she started calling Daya as tum from aap...ironic since Tarika tried to flirt with Daya like a couple of times ( ep 501-510) before Abhi Tarika angle started in ep 543...

I'm still bitter about the way Daya Shreya ended....such a mature track was axed brutally.....i don't get BP Singh's logic of ending this track to not anger female fans of Daya.....people were fidaa over Rajeev , Ronit , , iqbal khan ( god knows how...these 3 are only average looking) and they got married multiple times in the shows they acted in....so why would it make a difference if Daya had a mature relationship in the show? 😡

I didn't get this, how is addressing Daya as tum indicate an advancement in Abhijit Tarika relationship? That simply means Tarika Daya grew close as friends.

That's what i meant....the writters didn't bother to advance their relationship but they strengthed some unneeded bonds🤣

I can only think that B.P. Singh sir thought that married people don't make good cops.

In entire CID, only married person was Fedriks who was in for comic relief. ACP sir's wife was never shown either she died or divorced after Nakul's case. Daya Abhijeet forever single(even if they started their carrier at the age of 18 - highly unlikely they would be 38 at the end of CID) Salunke with his history of girlfriends

Shreya removed after marriage.

There were a few episodes where both Abhijeet Tarika poured their heart into one another. Even during Dayareya fiasco, she was the only one he confided in but they never formalized it

Shreya got infatuated by Daya and slowly both fell but it was always unspoken though both knew the other loved and Daya even fought with Abhijit for Shreya

Later Shreya's father got her alliance fixed to his friend's son from whom he had taken a loan. They continued this would be engagement thing for many episodes before her getting engaged. Then they forgot about this love.

After few years Shreya left and she was brought back for another episode as guest star where we get to know Daya still loves her but she got married and had a daughter who was abducted by a criminal at her birth who now blackmailed Shreya to do whatever he wanted.. Where cute story was completely spoiled

Oh I forgot in between while Shreya was still in CID after her engagement there was one episode where Daya loses his memory and was behaving weirdly. Unaware of this Shreya reached out to him when he said "ye kya kar rahi ho behen" to which she replied that sir please mujhe behen to mat bulaiye.

Yeah during cid Giraftaar series and Shreya sagai build up Abhijeet's only source of support was Tarika...
