Rani and Sara are at the asylum and ask the receptionist for Poongodi. The caretaker brings them to Poongodi's room. On the way they encounter some patients who try to talk to them. Sara feels uneasy. Finally they see Poongodi on the floor talking to herself. 😭

Rani is shocked to see her in this state. Poo sees Rani and asks her if she wants to see her child. Sara can't believe his eyes. Rani is shocked that Poo does not recognise her and says she is athai. Poo starts to joke.

Rani remarks on how Poo has changed just because she can't have a child. The caretaker tells her that Poo's condition has improved and she doesn't have tantrums now. Poo tells Rani that her child is in school and will return soon. Sara can't bear to see Poo like that, and goes away in tears. 😭 After some time looking at Poo, Rani also leaves the place, all the while looking at Poo.

Rani finds Sara crying outside and comforts him.. Sara feels emotional at how Poo has become and says what kodumai is this. He begs Rani to cure Poongodi with nattu marundhu if this treatment is not effective. Sara feels sorry for MOM's family. Rani agrees to help and goes to talk to the doctor alone. She tells Sara not to cry.

Surya meets Gautham and congratulates him on his success. Then he starts to talk about his business doing well. Gautham shifts the conversation to Bhoomi worrying about Surya not caring about his words. Surya reassures Gautham that he has not changed and that he will take care of it. He talks confidently about his business. Gautham asks him to understand Bhoomi. Surya says he has to take care of his own life too, then rushes off to a meeting.

Back to asylum .. Poo plays with her hair and looks out the window. Suddenly she spots a crumpled newspaper featuring the missing ad for Karthi. She runs out to grab it when another girl starts to play with it. Poo snatches the article back and starts reading. Poo starts calling Karthi's name and cries .. Now she appears more normal. 😲 Caretaker goes to her and says she cannot digest the fact that Poo is pretending to be mentally unsound and facing many difficulties here, and says not having a child is not a big issue. Poo agrees but says she is so upset that she can't produce a heir for Karthi's family who loved her so much. She hoped that if she leaves, Karthi's family will marry Karthi to someone else, and that Karthi will accept his wife eventually after some time. She says she is most worried about her grandfather MOM, who wants a great-grandson but does not say so. Now she is worried about Karthi going missing. Suddenly she stops crying and is shocked to see someone in front of her.

It is none other than Rani. 😲👏 Rani finds out that Poongodi is not really mentally unsound. ⭐️
