Vani Rani Friday-02nd May-Episode 338

A lost Selvi returns home and Swami questions her, whether she met Rani. Selvi polumbufies that I am totally upset and could not understand that why there has been a huge problem between you and amma, and why this has led to the level of separation. Rajesh questions her that, she went to meet her Mother and why didn't she return. Is she not pacified yet..Selvi says nope and she has clearly pointed out that she shall get back to home only when Saravanan returns. Swami says that this is her problem, even now she is not bothered about Sara, but she just wishes to prove me that her sister is right(I really felt pity on Swami, and his facial expressions, at the time of he uttering these dialogues). Selvi says his not to speak so, as Sara is not a enemy to her. Swami says I don't deny and I am glad to accept the fact that she loves him so much, but to her Vani is the most important soul than anybody in the earth(Idhu ippo than therunjutha..Engallukku serial arambicha appave theriyume)..Swami continues that everybody has their own fact to describe, I am not asking you to step in my shoes and think, but atleast for once, you don't think as your mother's daughter but think as my daughter(Idhu ennada loosu mathiri irukku)..He says that it was his mistake that he asked her to get out of the house. But she behaved, asif she had been waiting for this word, and left immediately(Swami please grow brain and stop blamming others, for all your faults..Its annoying to the core..This is the only reason, why you and your son are the biggest losers of the world)..Selvi says that I putforth the same question to you unlike amma, you both rushed up when you heard that I have been separated from Rajesh, but why did you both separate?..What about the advises which you gave me?(Actually I may be in minority, but I wanted Poo to go to Vani's house and ask Vani and Rani questions on Swami and Rani's separation. The two sisters gave lecture after lecture and tortured the poor female, to go and live with Karthik. What about all those now?...If such a episode has been shot, it would be a dialogue feast between Poo Vs Vani and Rani)..Selvi tells that for sure, Sara will return and amma will also be back with him, I plead you not to show any anger on her then. She tells Rajesh to leave, and she shall be with her father. But Swami tells her to leave him alone and get back home. He says that he is frustated and does not want to face anybody..Selvi questions him whether, is she his problem. Swami says nope, He says he feels that he is his own problem(Habba..Finally you realised Swami)..Selvi leaves.

Thatha seeing an auspicious day for Thali perukku function(Pochu da..), he says friday is a good day, and tells him to go and inform Mano and Jyo.Poo silently standing in the kitchen. Manickam says if there are too many members, we can inform for Catering. But Mekala says there may be only around 10 people, so there is no such requirement. Balu questions her whether she is not going to inform Vani and Rani. Manickam tells how this can happen without his daughters. Mekala thiru thiru. She tells that there is no problem for her inviting, Vani and Rani. But how about Jyothi?.She will surely hurt Rani and Vani will get agitated, and there shall be misery. Amidst we cannot control Senior Anaconda. Rani is already in the sorrow of Saravanan. Balu says that Megala is right. Manickam tells that, already the marriage has happened without their blessings, atleast now I want them to bless the young couple. But balu replies that let them go to Rani's house and receive their blessings once Sara returns safely(Idhu enna?..Entire family muttala?..Why don't you think of Poo's feelings when she goes to Rani's house once Sara returns). Sabai disburses and Karthik looks at a teary Poo(BGM rocked again)..

Our Karunai kadal Selvi gets back home, and starts her oppari session. Sundari tries to console her.Selvi and Rajesh explains everything(Same aracha mave arachachu)..Selvi tells that all the good habits and manners which they possess has been inhibited only from their parents, but now they are separated. My father is arrogant and my mother has ego. Little thenu is suffering. Sura consoles that Vani is there to rescue their problem and soon she will place everything in order. Our Manam ketta Jenmam says Selvi not to cry, as he is getting hurt(Adada..avalavu nallavana da nee)..Rajesh shuts him up. MKJ says that Selvi who will be ever smiling is crying now(I shall record from the episode 1 till date in a DVD and send to Arumugam, atleast for this dialogue. Arumugam you failed to recogonise that she is the oppari queen of the serial). Malathy tells his to be quiet. Arumugam replies that the ultimate loss will be his, as Rajesh will not teach him as how to drive Auto(Adhana patthen)..Rajesh scoots his up. Malathy as usual apologises. Rajesh vazhakkam pola barks. Selvi sits crying.

Swami lying in the oonjal, and Rani in bed. Swami realises Rani's voice, asking him to go inside. He leaves inside, and sits in sofa. He hears another voice, to go to room and sleep and he looks around.

Vani Rani - Episode 339 (Saturday, 3^rd May 2014)

First of all, my most humble and sincere apologies for the delay in posting the written update. 😒I was out of town for a family matter from Wednesday night and only just got back on Sunday night. 😳 So without further delay, let's head on to the written update of yet another fast paced and exciting Saturday episode of Vani Rani. 😃

Written Update

Night time in Rani's house, Swami walks dejectedly in the darkness, sits down heavily on the sofa and rests his head against the wall. He hears Rani telling him to lie down in the room instead and is startled and looks around searching for her. He looks upset when he can't find her and gets up and walks dejectedly to the dining table to have a drink of water instead. There he hears Rani asking him why he is drinking water on an empty stomach and starts to reply before realizing she is not there. He looks around again with a slightly startled expression and leans heavily against the wall looking upset. Meanwhile, in Vani's house, Rani lays awake deep in thought while Thenu sleeps. Swami looks around sadly and heaves a sigh of sadness. Rani sits up hearing Thenu crying. She asks her why is she not sleeping and Thenu replies how will she sleep. Rani tells her not to cry as she is always with her but Thenu replies but Swami is not with them. She questions Rani why is all this happening to them and that in all the years they spent in Vani's house, she never had trouble sleeping, but now she cannot sleep and feels like she has come to some foreign place. Rani tells her not to think that way and that everyone faces hardship and it is now their turn to do so. Rani consoles Thenu that things won't always remain like this and she does not know Swami well enough, his anger never lasts very long. Thenu tells her to put that aside for a moment and questions her how and why she had so much anger and does she realize how badly she spoke to Swami. Rani tells her what she said wasn't from her heart and that she had to harden her resolve and speak to Swami. Thenu questions Rani if what she said was pre-planned and not spontaneously spoken in anger. Rani explains that it isn't like that and what cannot be said calmly can only be poured out when in anger. Rani asks her when she has ever gotten angry or even spoken to Swami in an angry tone. She tells Thenu Swami loves all of them so much. She continues that they could not have even come to the level they are at if not for Vani but who can explain that to Swami. She tells Thenu Swami should have that gratitude in his heart. Thenu replies that they cannot even get through one night without Swami. Rani tells her it is very difficult for her as well but they have no choice but to face it. Rani consoles Thenu that things will get better soon but Thenu asks her when will that be and when can they return to their house. Rani is unable to answer and hugs a crying Thenu close. Meanwhile, Swami is lying down in the kitchen, wide awake in the darkness.

The next morning, Shree's Gautham 😉 *ehem ehem* 😆 is drinking tea at a tea stall when Karthik arrives on his motorbike. (Sara's missing and Gautham's coolly having tea at a tea stall, weird behavior for Gautham. And Karthik, was the meeting pre-planned, coz he managed to identify Gautham from afar on his bike even though Gautham had his back turned towards Karthik, telepathy ah? And anyone else noticed the green shirt and yellow chappal with khaki pants combination? *smirks*) Karthik asks Gautham how is he doing and Gautham sarcastically replies that he is very fine. Karthik tells Gautham he has been thinking of meeting him for awhile now but it kept getting postponed until today when he bumped into him accidentally. (Appadina telepathy than pole irrukke, especially since Karthik felt the need to stress that he saw Gautham by chance, what an understanding between the former arch-enemies. *smacks head*) Gautham asks Karthik what's the matter in an disinterested tone. Karthik asks if there is any info on Sara's whereabouts. Gautham gives Karthik a slightly startled and suspicious look. Karthik tells him he is sure Vani is looking for Sara through the police but questions Gautham if he knows any extra info. Gautham tells him rudely that he knows nothing. Karthik tells him everyone at home has been upset since Sara disappeared and MOM is constantly polambufying about Sara. (Anyone else sees the ull nokam here or is it just me?) Gautham asks Karthik why is he telling him all this and snaps that if MOM is polambufying, then go and console him, not come here expecting Gautham to have the cure for everything. Karthik tells Gautham he understands the reason he is angry at him but tells him he can't explain the reason why he is asking about this to Gautham. Gautham gets up angrily and tells Karthik he is going to trash the living daylights out of him and to leave immediately. He questions if Karthik is there to have a panchayat on Sara's disappearance. Karthik vehemently denies this and tells Gautham his only intention is to find out what he can about Sara from Gautham on the assumption that Vani would have definitely found him by now. (Karthik really put his foot in his mouth with this one, not knowing of all the complications that have arisen from Vani's false assurance that she's has found Sara and is in control of the situation.) An angry Gautham holds Karthik by the shirt collar and tells him to get lost as he knows nothing. Karthik questions why Gautham is so angry at him. Karthik says Gautham's behavior makes it seem that he has found Sara and is afraid that Karthik has sniffed out the truth about it. Gautham raises his hand to hit Karthik and Karthik tells him to just answer yes or no, why is he picking an unnecessary fight instead. Gautham once again snaps at him to leave and Karthik once again questions why Gautham is unnecessarily angry at him when he has done no wrong. Gautham shouts at Karthik that it is all his fault and Sara went missing because of Karthik. (Ithu yenna, puthu kathai ah irrukke? 😲) Karthik is shocked speechless. Gautham warns him that he is furious and not to disturb him anymore asking about Sara or anyone else or he might just kill Karthik in anger. Gautham tells him he managed to marry the girl he wanted so to stop it at that and get lost and not get involved in their family matter. Karthik tells him ok he will leave and not to get angry, and requests that Gautham inform him when Sara is found, and he will never disturb Gautham for anything anymore. Gautham snaps at him to leave and the tea stall owner snaps at them to move aside and not block his stall if they want to discuss family matters. Karthik leaves on his bike while Gautham looks on upset and irritated. (In all honesty, I was rather irritated with Gautham during the live updates on Saturday when I read he had blamed Karthik for Sara's disappearance, but having watched the scene and seeing how annoying Karthik's expression and his whining tone were, I'm actually quite surprised Gautham did not give him a good trashing instead. 😆)

In MOM's house, Megala drags a struggling Karthik to the backyard and questions him where has he been. Karthik questions what's the need to drag him by the hand that way and Megala repeats her question. Karthik lies that he was hanging out with his friends at the tea stall and chatting about cricket. (Poi solla kuda yethavathu oru velaiya veliye ponen allathu vellai thedi veliye ponen nu sollave maathanna intha paiyan? Lungi Master'ku apparom VR'le Vetti Master na athu ivanna than irrukum.) Megala tells him off for lying to her and questions him again about where he went and what he did. Karthik jokes that his days of cutting classes to go to the cinema are over with college. Megala asks Karthik why did he pick a fight with Gautham. (Aaha, news yeppaddi ivvalo sikirama travel pannuchi? 😲) Karthik tries malupufying by asking which Gautham is she talking about. Megala repeatedly questions him and Karthik repeatedly denies it until Megala tells him a neighbor had seen them fighting. She tells him their family problems have just been solved and MOM and Vani are finally on good terms and warns Karthik not to spoil anything. Karthik tells Megala not to link kids' fights to elders' politics and not to behave jobless like the neighbor. (Look who's talking. ) Karthik tells her if there was a fight his shirt would be torn or at least dirty and his shirt is in pristine condition. (What good logic. 😲) Karthik tells Megala his friend had a fight with Gautham and he merely asked Gautham what it was about, Gautham then pointed out something sticking to Karthik's shirt and helped him remove it and Karthik even thanked Gautham for it by shaking his hand. Megala gives Karthik a stern warning to leave Gautham alone from now onward and Karthik enthusiastically agrees saying it's such a simple matter to do and tells Megala not to waste her time giving him advice and to get on with her work. 😲 Karthik leaves while Megala looks on angrily and with worry. Karthik stands by the window thinking while Poo comes into the room and closes and locks the door. She questions him if he fought with Gautham. Karthik retorts he can't answer either way as either she will not believe him or what he told Megala becomes a lie so he tells her to just assume he gave her whichever answer she wants to hear from him. Poo questions him again and he retorts he didn't fight, merely did an inquiry. When Poo questions him further, he says he went to enquire about Sara as he had promised to bring him back to her. He says he doesn't know where to start looking but Vani has people everywhere and should know something by now even though she would never admit it and that is why he had to ask Gautham instead. He tells Poo Gautham got angry and held his collar but Karthik told him lovingly not to get angry and left. Poo is disbelieving but Karthik emphasizes that he has no reason to pick a fight with Gautham and tells Poo he suspects Vani has hidden Sara somewhere safe and Gautham knows this and that is why his reacted angrily when questioned to dissuade Karthik from digging deeper into the matter. Poo stares at Karthik while he tells her he has given his word to find Sara and reunite him with Poo and he will do anything to keep his promise, he adds that it is only difficult to find a missing flight but how hard can it be to find a child missing in a crowd and leaves from there. Poo looks on confused and disturbed.

Karupu and his men meet a lawyer and ask him when will Kathir be released on bail. The lawyer tells Karupu to be patient as the matter needs to come to hearing first and that he has arranged for the hearing to be held the next day. However, he warns him that to get Kathir out on bail is unlikely as Vani has an airtight case against him and will argue ferociously against his release. Karupu insists that the lawyer argues equally ferociously and gets Kathir out on bail. The lawyer explains that there are 6 cases against Kathir, 2 of which are murders, 1 kidnapping and 1 habouring a terrorist, which makes it very dangerous for Kathir as bail is at the discretion of the judge. Karupu grabs the lawyer's collar and screams at him to find a judge who will grant bail to preside over the matter. The lawyer removes Karupu's hand and tells him that it is difficult because Vani has strong points to present in favour of her argument. (Then why did you stupidly say it depends on the judge, ssshhh habba, vaaya kuduthu punna akikerathake ithu oru nalla utharanam. ) Karupu holds a gun to the lawyer and warns him that either he gets the bail and is bathed in money or fail and be killed and have his corpse be bathed by his children. (Punch dialogue super, dialogue delivery than konjam comedy ah irunthuche. 😆) Karupu and his men leave and the lawyer stands watching in shock and fear.

Selvi and Rajesh come to Rani's house with breakfast for Swami, but he questions them why they are troubling themselves. Rajesh says they can only eat in peace if they have seen him eating in peace. Swami starts his philosophy that seeing care and love scares him these days and he'd rather face a knife being held to his neck. 🤔 Selvi admonishes him for speaking like that and forcefully drags him to have breakfast, Swami reluctantly follows and Selvi and Rajesh serve him. (Wait, did Selvi just use her dupatta to wipe the plate? 😲) Suddenly 3 rowdies appear at the doorway and call out to Swami. Selvi questions him who are they and Swami is silent. Selvi asks Rajesh to see who have come and Swami stops him and goes himself to see the rowdies. Swami looks worried and afraid for Selvi and Rajesh as he goes outside. The rowdies threaten him to come out immediately or they will enter and trash the house. Selvi and Rajesh come out and join Swami. The rowdies question Swami for hitting Sara's boss when he came to collect the loan. Selvi looks shocked at this. Swami asks the rowdies what they want and they challenge him to hit them the way he hit Sara's boss when he came alone to meet him the day before. Selvi pushes past Rajesh and questions Swami what is the matter while Swami tries to convince her to go back inside. Swami requests the rowdies to leave but they grab him by the collar and drag him outside. Rajesh gets into the fray and a fight ensues even though Swami and Selvi try to stop it. Swami tries to force Selvi into the house but she refuses to go in. Meanwhile, Rajesh trashes the rowdies and picks up a spear like thing to hold them off while a terrified Selvi and Swami try to stop him. Rajesh shuts them up and threatens the rowdies. Swami pleads with them to leave saying he will apologise personally to Sara's boss and repay the loan asap. The rowdies leave and Swami removes the spear from Rajesh's hand and holds both Selvi and Rajesh close. He notices the rowdies watching and continues to plead with them to leave. Once the rowdies leave, Swami tries to convince Selvi and Rajesh to leave but Selvi insists she stays with him and questions him about the rowdies. Swami explains that they are from the finance company Sara worked in and they were harassing him for the Rs. 11 lakhs he had borrowed. He tells them to leave as it is dangerous for them to be there. Rajesh tells Swami it is dangerous for him to remain there and asks him to follow them home, Selvi also pleads with Swami but he tells them he is afraid the rowdies will create problems at Selvi's house as well and tells Selvi she has to be careful in her delicate condition. He assures them he can manage the rowdies as he is used to it and pleads with them to leave. Rajesh denies but Selvi tells Swami fine, they will leave and angrily drags a reluctant Rajesh away saying Swami won't listen to them so let them listen to him instead. They leave and Swami watches them worriedly, he leans heavily against the wall and sits at the porch looking sad and dejected. Episode ends with Swami's sad face. Thodarum.

Selvi and Rajesh (SR) come to Raj's office. Raj yells at them how dare you beat my guys. I will not spare you. Wait and see. 😡 SR very politely plead Raj to give them some time to repay the loan. Raj humiliates them. SR plead Raj not to harm Swami and take responsibility to repay the loan. Raj insults some more and finally gives them just 2 days time to repay the loan amount 11 lakhs.😲 SR agree and drive off.

Bhoomi's business downgrading high time. Office staff dig a lot of thillu mullu done by Devi. Bhoomi is frustrated. He orders the staff to dig more, summon auditor and lawyer and see what can be done to save the sinking ship. 😭

Manikkam veedu - function kalai. All is glee except Poo. Mano, Jo and Angu given a warm welcome. A beautifully dressed lifeless Poo is made to sit in a chair. Nalangu vechu, thali piruchu kokaranga. Angu explains the importance of this function and about mangalyam, kundu and the other components one wears in the thali. Jo says these days girls don't wear thali at all stating it as out of fashion. Manikkam cracks a mokka joke and all applaud him .😡 (En thala ezhuthu..😭 ). Aarthi done for Poo. Aasirvadham time. Elders ask Karthik to join Poo. Karthik thiru thiru. Poo signals him to come. 😲Karthik joins in all smiles. The couple take blessings from Jo, Mano. Jo says make me a patti ASAP. 😡😡

Vani Rani Episode 343- Written updates:

Kathir and Karuppu shouting at the lawyer for not bailing him out. Lawyer pleading them both, that they cannot surpass Vani. She has filed a case as terrorist, hence the judge cannot issue a bail order. Karuppu says, this lawyer is not fine enough, we shall cut him into pieces(Enakku oru doubt, evan enna rowdiya illa Kasapu kadaikarana)?..Lawyer says Kathir that I have been loyal to you for years, but your brother is showing pistal and cornering me(Neeyellam oru vakkilada?..oru rowdi mirattina ulla thooki veikama polambara)?..He says that we have underestimated Vani. Kathir shouts how dare you share the strength of my enemy to me(Ada mula kettavanae?you should always know the strength of your enemy only)..Lawyer says it is our mistake to give shelter to terrorist, she has the video proof of it,.how did you guys be silent. Kathir becomes irritated..he says I shall show Vani who I am?..Whatever she does I know how to come out of it and teach her a lesson..One guy overhears it..(Yarunnu patha..Vertri..Hayyo Devi re-entrya?..VR team pls podhume?..Nanga evallavu adichalam thangaromgarthukka Ippadiya?..Enough of baddies)..Kathir tells Karuppu and lawyer to leave..Vetri calls a policemen and tells that he wanted to speak with Kathir (all in mute)..The policemen informs Kathir, that vetri needs to talk to Kathir about Vani. They open the cell of vetri and brings him near Kadhir(Idhellam entha Jaila nadakkum?..)policemen and incharge allowing them to speak alone and leaving the place for privacy..(Kathir enna avalavu periya appa takkara)?..Vetri says Vani has spoiled his life(Idhu ennada pudhu kathai..It was Devi right?)..He tells all that happened so far. Kathir is so happy and says that this is enough for him and calls Karuppu(First tell me, who is allowing mobile phone for a accust in Central Jail..Nalaikku nan poi puzhal jailla check pannanum)..

Mano and Jyothi in temple. Jyo tells that she wants to talk to Poongodi but Mano refuses, that she will not reciprocate.Jyo says that Poo has changed, but Mano is scared that he feels that she is alerting us for some bombard. Jyo as usual shuts him up(Mano ur such a dumbest character of VR). Jyo calls and Megala updates that Poo fainted and we called up the doctor, and there is nothing to worry. Mom questions Poo, why didn't she eat and why did she do the household chores?..Poo says it was for thatha to get alright, she was fasting(Ada che..I thought Poo will tell for Sara to return back)..Manickam says this is not required. Poo says that if he had chest pain and got admitted in hospital for her, why not she faint for him(Anandha kanneer..Enakku thangala)..Mano and Jyo rushes to see her. They question her what happened?..Megala scolds her for fasting. Poo says she is fine enough. Jyo spots her manja kayiru and questions where is her Thali chain?(People please understand, that thali is not a ornament to be shown outside. It is not required to be showcaused). They update them on the chain being lost, and tells her to calm down. Sabai disburses.

Rani sitting outside Vani's house, Gautham on the other end. Both seem to be lost. Vani calls up commissioner and enquires about Sara. Bhoomi comes and updates Vani on he signing the balnk documents. Vani is shell shocked. Bhoomi says that he has shreded all those papers. Karuppu and lawyer comes to Vetri's room and search for documents. Finally they find a blank document signed by Bhoomi(Pochu da..Adutha Villangama?)..Actually when I saw Bhoomi has signed so many blank pages, I was really shocked. It reminded me of Vadivelu's dialogue in Vetrikodikattu movie, Maduvukku oru kaiyezhutha?They say that they shall ruin Vani with this. Swami comes to Vani's home. Rani in cloud nine. She says to Vani that he cannot live without her. Bhoomi and Vani smiling. They come out. Swami places the cycle and coffe can and says Vani that he has placed it. He questions Vani as usual who asked her to repay the debt(Andha urupudatha cycle and can cost is 11 lakhs a) If she approaches through Selvi will he not know it?..How will Selvi repay 11 lakhs. Bhoomi tells what is wrong in it. The owner is troubling and what is wrong if they repay?.Swami questions will they repay it for their neighbour or for anybody else(Edhu enna loosu thanama irukku?..Swami when are you planning to grow brain). Why do you want to prove that I am fit for nothing(Edha edhukku prove pannanum, oor arincha vishayam thane idhu?..You have been Mr. Dhandam from episode 1). Is this once for all settlement for leaving your sister to you(Idhu Nalla irukke?Enakku theinja varaikkum ella husbund than Jeevanamsam kodupanga..Inge enna vithiyasama irukku..My dear lawyer Shree..Pl clarify me)..Vani says why Swami is seeing everything in a wrong sense(Exactly Vani..loved it). Swami says for you to show your good heart why are you dumping me in cow dung(Ada pavi..Neeyellam thirundave mattiya?)

Vani Rani - Episode 345 (Saturday, 10^th May, 2014)

Sorry for the terrible delay in posting the update friends, had to go out of town on a family emergency on Sunday and only just got back late Monday night. Had no access to the internet or I would have posted brief updates to get the discussion rolling. Came back and watched the episode early Tuesday morning and had another heart break over Swami. What an episode.

Written Update

Continuation from yesterday, Vani questions Swami why he is talking that way while Bhoomi, Surya, Gautham and Rani watch on in shock. Swami accuses Vani of creating situations to make Rani believe he is a wastrel and tells her not to trouble herself over him as he is nothing compared to her. He calls himself rubbish that gets blown away by wind and questions why should she respect him as a person. He asks what more can he do for her and questions how many more times will she bathe him in cow dung to prove her greatness. Vani asks him not to take things the wrong way and explains that they are all suffering because of Sara and she didn't want more problems to ensue because of Sara's boss. Swami points out that the Sara problem is because Vani lied about his whereabouts. He accuses Vani of instigating Rani against him to avoid a confrontation between Swami and Vani. Rani pleads with Swami to not speak that way. Swami admits that the loan of Rs. 11 lakhs is a huge amount and he may never have been able to repay it. But he stresses that it is his burden to bear and Sara's boss only took his cycle and coffee can as collateral, Vani on the other hand took away his self respect in return. Swami leaves saying there is no meaning for him to live anymore after this. Vani calls him back but he tells her since he can't change her or stop her from helping him, it is best that he leaves her world forever. Rani pleads with him but he tells Vani to stop helping him and to leave him alone, he will go his way and even if he is hit by any bus or lorry on the way, they are not to claim his body from the morgue. He says that he spent his lifetime with his pride at her feet, at least in death let him be free and in peace. Rani is shocked. He tells Vani his soul won't rest in peace if she sheds tears for him and leaves saying this is his final wish. Bhoomi calls out to him and he shouts let him die as an orphan and folds his hands together in front of all of them. Vani walks into the house and Bhoomi, Surya and Gautham chase after Swami. Rani collapses and everyone panics.

Elsewhere, a badly injured Arumugam returns to Rajesh's house. Malathy ignores him and his injuries and asks him to leave. She tells him off while Selvi and Rajesh watch. Arumugam pleads with them and Selvi asks Malathy to let him in but Malathy is adamant. She requests Rajesh let Arumugam live in a corner outside the house as she can't take it anymore and Rajesh relents and warns him against coming inside. Arumugam agrees on the condition they give him 3 square meals a day and settles into a corner. (Don't let the briefness of the written update fool you, this scene lasted from 05.47-13.43 of the video and imho, was a real speed breaker, would have been better if they had focused on the aftereffects of Swami's actions instead of trying to inject some comedy via Arumugam to lighten up the proceedings, the scene seriously tested my patience and I scrolled the video in my first viewing before watching the scene separately to do the update.)

Swami is walking aimlessly and Swami manages to track him down and stop him. Bhoomi tells him about Rani but Swami shows no reaction. Bhoomi tries to drag him home but Swami struggles and pleads to be left alone. Bhoomi tries talking to Swami to pacify him but Swami is adamant. Bhoomi explains to Swami that at this age, it is his time to live with his family and focus on them and their well being. Bhoomi tells Swami he is Rani's whole world and she trusts him to take good care of her. Swami looks skeptical and questions Bhoomi for lying. Swami points of that if she thought he was important, she wouldn't have left him and returned to Bhoomi's house. Bhoomi points out that Rani is like a child but Swami points out that Rani is smarter than all of them. He tells Bhoomi Rani is able to advise everyone on what is right and wrong but she has not realized what she did was wrong. He questions Bhoomi and Vani for failing to bring Rani home to him. Bhoomi loses his temper and tells Swami off for sending Rani out in the first place and points out that he and Vani and come to meet and pacify Swami. Swami is offended and points out that if Rani really had respect for him, she would have listened when he asked her not to keep in contact with Vani. He tells Bhoomi enough is enough and he is leaving prepared for anything. He requests Bhoomi to leave him alone and keeps walking. Bhoomi scolds him for not being concerned about Rani and Swami replies that there is nothing new in Rani fainting and getting better after awhile and Vani meddling whenever there is a problem. He points out that the only thing new is the way Bhoomi has come to pacify him and Bhoomi tells him he came because he cannot take it. Swami accuses him of acting and tells him he has suffered a lot because of him. He tells Bhoomi to leave him alone and to go and enjoy Rani's cooking instead and be happy. Bhoomi tells him not to be disgusting. Swami questions Bhoomi why is he making this much of an effort to bring him home, to make him a slave or to proudly tell the world he sorted out this mess. Bhoomi tells Swami he is his brother but Swami points out that he had said he was born to another woman. Bhoomi apologizes and pleads with him that he has changed. Swami asks him what can he do for that. Bhoomi advises Swami that it's bad to leave home this way and Swami points out that Bhoomi himself had done the same when Selvi married Rajesh and tells him not to practice double standards. Bhoomi says he admits he was bad but Swami has always been good so why is he behaving this way now. Swami says he is suffering now because he was too good to all of them. He accuses them of planning smartly to separate Rani and him and Bhoomi gets angry. Swami tells him he no longer fears his anger and the day Rani decided Vani was more important to her, it is no longer appropriate for him to remain with her and be a burden. Bhoomi tries to convince him that there is a lot of difference between the relationship between the sisters and their married life. Swami agrees but points out that Rani has said with her actions that their married life is nothing before her sister. He says there is no point of him following her like a madman now that she has chosen her sister over him. Bhoomi pleads with him to come home and they will discuss everything and sort it out. He tries to take Swami with him by the hand but Swami struggles and gets angry. He shouts at Bhoomi, calling him Mr. Bhoominathan, and warns him that this is the limit of the respect for him and tells him to leave or he will be insulted further. Swami walks away while Bhoomi looks on in shock and tears.

In Vani's house, the doctor is examining Rani while the family is gathered around her. (The team could have paid a little bit more attention to the editing in this scene, Gautham's body language when captured in the frame with Rani and in the frame with Vani and Surya did not sync and the disconnect was rather obvious in the frames.) Vani asks the doctor what is wrong with Rani and the doctor explains in mute. Episode ends on Vani's worried expression.

All in all, a very disturbing episode, I just cannot stomach the change in Swami, it looks very artificial and I'm not at all happy with it, the team is treading a very fine line here and I sincerely hope they do justice to justifying Swami's behavior and hopefully, his subsequent redemption, or else Swami may just remain the one caricature in VR like any one of the OTT villains in any other serial.
