did anyone watch Lajja? In Lajja the main protagnist's name was Vadehi too and she had a terrible life too (in the film)

so is it something to do with name Vadehi or wat?

Vadehi is another name for Sita. In Ramayan Sita has to go through an agni pariksha (a walk through fire) in her case it was to prove that she was still pure. But in this case maybe they chose the name to show that the main character will go through many hardships in her married life. (We never know what the "secret" could turn out to be?) Maybe, Aryan is crazy! Its just a thought. LOL 😛

Well vaidhei is another name for sita as cell told you..i think its going to be same as ramayan..never know dese directors..i m jsu waiting..
