He himself has wrote in his official fb page...!!!!!!!!

He wrote dat his exit may be on thrusday or friday of this week...

my journey started with BFF with SanVI , its over now , the mystery was kind of predictable, never found the true essence of frienship * dont bash me for saying so *
SanVi was the sole reason for me watching BFF,
i guess i'll save another half an hour of my life now😕

Maybe he's just taking a break. We don't see Prof Rigved in the show these days, and even the actor playing Sanju's dad was on a break, and eventually replaced.
