Chameli is akash's former lover. Once they loved each other and she got pregnant and due to sm reasons they got seprated and he was not aware about her pregnancy and her whereabout.He might searched her...She herself told earlier it was her mistake that she left him and she become a prostitute to brought up her daughter rani. Now the truth will come out when akash see chameli.But meethi will forgive akash ...i am sure meethi will forgive him and chameli will not ask a place as his wife.meethi will forgive him as he didnt cheat her,it was his past and she will accept rani as her daughter. Chameli might die after she remove all the thorns(ratna bai)from rani's life. So rani could live happily with meethi and akash. But ambika and her mom will spoil their happiness. I love this serial. But they spoil akash's character by making him do somuch negatives.

As for Rani and Akash's similarity, Chameli and Akash may be similar being siblings. And Rani might her adopted her behavior from her mother. May be the similar way Chameli too apologises. I dot think Akash would be Rani's dad. As if there would be something like this that AKash was married previously, he would have told to Meethi. Its not a small thing that he could have ended up ignoring this. Akash was bad and evil in starting but he was never shown bad to his loved ones. He loved his sister, his mother, his cousins, his brother. He could even give his life for people whom he loved. He wouldnt have left his wife like this if at all she was his wife. But what about karwa chauth then ? Chameli was holding Akash's picture . I know only her name Arshifa Khan , she is an Indian child actress, who had played many TV shows including, Baal Veer and Jeannie Aur Juju.

Agree with u ruhi di, but in ratore's case he knows he had a wife and kid, but dead, here akash doesn't knw about chameli till now na, and moreover he didn't remember anything about his past till now, and as far as his char is show till now he didn't hide anything from maiya, after mrg from meethi, and akash did a revenge plan as per maiya's wish only na, so I too dnt want chameli as akash ex-wife, and my doubt is 9yrs kid for akash is weired and disgusting , wish some twist will be there and prove chameli is not akash ex-wife, but its uttaran, they show us opposite
