CHAPTER 12 : ARGUMENTS AND APOLOGIES :
Part 1 : Arguments :
With a loud click the door was closed and Meethi felt trapped. And scared. She wasn't scared of the closed door but the fact that a man was glaring at her furiously made her heartbeats increase rapidly. "He knows" she thought. "He knows that I've lied, and oh god, now I need to come up with some new story." The man, Vishnu or something, she thought.."He's not speaking a word though..why?' As soon as this thought crossed her mind, he spoke. "Who the hell are you and what do you think you're doing?" asked Vishnu and the calm tone with which he asked the question was the thing that scared her even more. "Ahem..." she started.."Umm...I'm sorry sir, I just wanted to interview you and your boss, you see..umm..im doing journalism.." and she held out her ID card and managed to give a weak smile. "Umm..and I needed to interview businessmen for my internship..and you see, if I do well and get good marks..it would help me in my placement.." and before she could finish, to her complete shock, Vishnu started exploding. "Who cares about all that? I don't give a damn about you or your worthless internship. The nonsense you did could've made me literally lose my respect! Now just get OUT of my sight!" Meethi was dumbfounded. Never in her life she had been yelled at like this and to her utter dismay she felt tears clinging on to her eyelashes, threatening to fall out any moment. She didn't want to cry before this man. She didn't want to cry before the man who insulted her without even giving a chance for her to apologize. Without uttering a single word, she ran past him, opened the door and banged it again with all the force she could muster.
Vishnu was thoroughly irritated. His boss mocked at him, every colleague of his was going to laugh about this for days! And of all, the worst thing was that he thought he was being promoted. And it shattered, right in front of his eyes because of the fool of a woman who came for some stupid internship. After sitting on his chair, his eyes fell upon something. He realised she had left her ID card behind. He took it and he saw the girl's bubbly smiling face looking at him from the card. Even though he was frustrated a part of his conscience couldn't help but feeling bad for his explosion. He had seen her trying to control her tears and he felt bad for it. "But she deserves it" he thought, and went on to continue his work.
Part 2 : APOLOGIES :
"Breakfast ready" shouted Tapasya and all the kids who were playing with the college students hardly heard her. They were having so much fun, and Tapasya was watching them with a wide smile on her face. "All of you..breakfast ready!" called out Tapasya but no one semmed to be paying any attention to her. Even the elder ones seemed to be having the time of their lives. Once more, she tried.."Breakfast.." but it was in vain. Giving up, Tapasya smiled at the adorable faces smiling and having fun. And close to her she heard a voice.." Out of control? Should I help?" She sensed whose voice it was and she stiffened. Yuvi noticed the smile vanish from her face and he knew he had to make amends quickly. He stepped front and looked at Tapasya. She remember what he had said yesterday.."You are not my mother.." and her reaction to it. She saw Yuvi, forced a smile and said "Yeah..they seem to be very preoccupied" and she tried to walk away. "Wait ma, one second!" said Yuvi and Tapasya looked at him with a glare. "I thought I was not everybody's mother here?" asked Tapasya and Yuvi said "Im really really sorry, I did not know what I was talking yesterday! I was...I was very irritated with something and I let it out on you. I'm not great with emotions..I sometimes don't know what im blabbering and most of the times I don't mean a thing of what I say..even my dad sometimes scolds me for this irrational behaviour...I really didn't know why I did that..." and with that Tapasya had to smile. "He looks so matured and he's still like a little child at heart" thought Tapasya. Yuvi was instantly relieved. "Whoo...you're smiling again! Thank you!" and Tapaysa said, "Im really sorry for irritating you even more Yuvraj.." and Yuvi shushed her. "No ma, you never irritated me, but now I may get irritated for something!" he said with a stone faced expression for which Tapasya was puzzled. "Why Yuvraj?" she asked for which he said "Breakfast!!! I'm starving!!" he yelled for which Tapasya started laughing. "Two minutes and it will be ready!" she said. "I'll get these people into the room by then" said YuvI and both of them, feeling light hearted after the conversation, left happily.
Something was drawing them together. Tapasya felt her motherly instinct overtake her strongly and she wished to spend more time with Yuvi. And Yuvi on the other hand had never felt more happier on seeing someone smile.
Part 3 : SHOCK...
As Rathore was getting into his car, he felt someone or rather something shove him hardly on his shoulder. Angrily turning to find the culprit he saw that it was a woman's bag that had hit him. "Ouch..that was hard. Women! They carry every damn thing in their bag and we are the ones that get hurt" he thought. As he was getting into his car something about the woman made him look at her intently again. There was something familiar...and he was sure that the woman had to cross the road, so he was bound to get a look at her face. He craned his neck to get a proper view..and yes, like he predicted, the woman was turning. And as she crossed the road, Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore was stunned. He closed her eyes, opened it, blinked it several times and looked properly. He couldn't believe his eyes yet, it was true. But...how could it be possible? Ichcha? Now, in this attire? Or who is it? Or am I dreaming?"What the hell.." thought Rathore..as the woman walked away and the driver accelerated the car out of the driveway.

Now that Rathore has seen Meethi what will happen? Will Vishnu and Meethi ever be cordial to each other? Yuvi and Tapasya have cleared their differences and a beautiful relationship is on its way.
