If it had been the opposite case, like yuvi was tappu's son and mukta iccha's daughter, then they would not have filed the case at all.

In my pov yuvi requires punishment for trying to rape muktha.Other reason is now the story is focussing on taps and iccha.Once veecha get reunited,the cvs will bring a new guy for yuvi and someone will bring him out of jail.
