I have watched pretty much each episode of Uttaran and today as it crosses the 1000 mark, I look back on how much the show has evolved and how much I, as a person have evolved over the last 4 years.Today I salute and thank each and every member of the Uttaran family for being there with me for 30 minutes every day.Tina as Iccha and Meethi, Rashmi as Tapasya, the tiny Iccha and Tapasya,Nandish as Veer, Rohit as Vansh, Gaurav as Rathore, Ayub as Thakur Saheb, Damini-the list goes on. But today, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of them for giving their everything so that we the audience could enjoy ourselves to the fullest.True, the show has had its share of criticism but with everything long and successful-Sachin Tendulkar included, that is but unavoidable.

There have been times when at the end of a tiring day, Uttaran would once again bring that energy back and revitalise me. Indeed,the sweet-sad theme of Uttaran, its soothing background music tracks and rich art production, have captivated me and millions across India and the world.

Today as you cross the 1000 mark, a very big THANK YOU to the entire Uttaran family and we hope that you continue to delight us in the months and years ahead.
