Rashami Desai did her schooling from Ulubari High School.

Rashami is also a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer.

Desai was married to her co-star, Nandish Sandhu, on 12 February 2012 in Dholpur.

She is an active person and likes to take part in dance and reality TV shows and presently she is on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 which also airs on Colors TV.

Desai who started her career at an early age got her first break in Ravan on Zee TV followed by Meet Milla De Rabba on Sony TV and started acting in the show Uttaran on Colors on June 20, 2009.

Later,in 2012 she opted out of the show Uttaran.

She has worked on other serials including Pari Hoon Main.

She has also done episodes for Ssshhh...Phir Koi Hai.

She has featured in reality shows such as comedy Circus, Maha Sangram,Zara Nachke Dikha, Crime Petrol, Big Money and Kitchen Champion Season 2 and Jhalak

Dikhlaja.

is the daughter of a wealthy couple, Divya and Jogi Thakur.

Tapasya and Ichcha are best friends.

However, jealousy creeps into the girls relationship as Ichcha wins over Tapasya's family with her simple nature and good character.

Nani always poison Tapasya's mind against her friend.

Overall Tapasya is a bold, sensitive and a brave girl.
