What i learned from watching this Indian drama? - Page 2

As being a foreigner to India, Uttaran is the one and only show i ever watched. Watching this drama has taught me many things about India and its culture. Point me wrong where I am wrong because these are the things that these directors (CVs) are showing to a stranger like me. People like me who are unaware of India's culture look onto these arts form to learn from it and here is what i have learned:

Things i learned from the show:

-Indian is full of corruption from police, to doctor everyone is after money...at least that's what the show has shown. true but uttaran is "literally" hard core fictional show.. humans r acting in this show and thats the only reality in uttaran.. 🤣

- Woman are prime evil in this world full of jealousy. it depends on individuals.. all types of ppl are available(😆) in this world.. ppl act according to der capability of handling situations..

-Evil wins over good no matter what...even God can loose in front of evil. not at all true in reality.. everyone pays for their bad deeds.. 👍🏼

-God do not exit as good people always suffer by following Him and bad deeds have no punishment. again not at all true.. ppl suffer bcoz somewhere they r wrong.. 😊

-Woman is just a baby making machine, if she is unable to do so she is a symbol of hatred. true

- Elderly have no sense of shame and continue to act bad.

- You can cheat and get away easily, cheat on ur family, husband and ur love.

- Woman is treated like garbage when her husband dies. things have changed a lot now.. 😊

-Husband is more bound to his family than his wife, what their wives want or desire do not matter. haha completely opposite.. 😆

Things i learned from this forum about india:

- people are of extreme respect.

- People are very welcoming and full of manners.

- Indian are well educated...well knowledge

Again, I am not trying to offend anyone but these are my learning through this show. Correct me if i am wrong.

i really appreciate you for sharing this with us.. 😃 i would say all ppl have different mentality and it doesnt matter what nationality,religion, gender they have ppl react to situations according to their convenience.. ppl speak n do watever pleases them.. very few ppl think abt others.. 😊 some r completely selfish.. some think abt themselves first but never do something which can harm others.. n very few keep doing for others only.. 😊 n i really dnt think taps,nani like HUMANS exist on earth.. 😊 everything written in read r completely my views based on wat i have observed.. 😊

cali its true that if u want 2 know the country or region u've 2 see art & oder things also!! i m an Indian & i luv my country but like aditi has said that it doesn't mean i m blind also!!.so no doubt thers a truth in these shows but sumtimes they show extremes!!

Things i learned from the show:

its a bitter truth that India is full of coorruption thatswhy 2day Anna Hazare has 2 protest 4 13 days by fasting 2 make sum tough laws against corrupt officials & politicians.

luk now-a-days every oder week sum or oder politician or officials name cropup in sum or oder scandal.and yes drs& police r also corrupt esply police.

but not each & every doc & police prsnl r corrupt. but yes the nurse shown 2 take money 2 replace the baby is also not false. as there r sum cases in sum places where such things happened & hospital ppl did take bribes.

its not true but there do exist such women who r full of jealousy!!

its again not true but UT CVs've portrayed like this!!

its not applicable 2 all but still there r sum v.backward areas where if she can't bear children or male child shes luked down by her in-laws. though now-a-days wid educn ppl r geting aware but even then sum educated ppl also've such mind set.

there r sum elderly ppl who r like naani,divya & mai types.even naani type of mind set is not unheard or unseen. didn't u see in those posts where naani's so-called gud acts r praised & even thos eposts were liked by sum ppl!!

thats really not true at all bcoz sumhow & after sumtime ur family & husband/wife really found abt the truth!!

its true 2sum extent in sum v.backward areas but not in all over India

-Husband is more bound to his family than his wife, what their wives want or desire do not matter.

this is again true in sum of the cases.where wife's desire don't matter.but now-a-days ppl r balancing btn family & wife. its due 2 the fact that we Indians r more family oriented ppl rather than individualistic. but its also truth that sum ppl do hide their family's bad deed taking advantage of this thinking!!

Things i learned from this forum about india:
